that's not the Niger river man... They right of innocent passage is subject to the flag countries agreement..if you want to use rive Niger stay back in Nigeria and sail north!!!
the river Niger cuts across different countries it belongs to no one, just as we don't have the right to block the river Niger from flowing down to the sea, you have no right to stop us from passing to the sea, river Niger doesn't start and end in Niger Delta, passes through different countries so, it's not really and internal water

We don't need your land.
No need to argue about what will happen when the two countries haven't been established.

I am still stupefied how you were able to twist history to suit your selfish interest. You are absolutely right when you said that we didn't stage the war in Kano or any other part of the North but what you should bear in mind is that the war was declared by the Nigerian govt against the secessionists and they came to force us back into the republic so the Biafran soldiers fought gallantly to defend their land so there is no how they would have taken the battle to the North when the federal armies were at their neck;they have to defend their territory

You just proved me right;I said few SS men fought alongside the Igbos;Your uncles might be among the few that fought.

On the issue of starvation I would like to ask "who were in control of the water ways in the SS during the war? The central govt or the people of the SS?
don't talk like you don't know that igbos had control of everything ... The britons who were in Nigerias side blocked the seaways...

The river Niger started from Mali, thru Burkina Faso and Niger republic. Have you seen any vessel passing thru Nigeria into these countries in line with your claim of river Niger being an "international waterway"?

Maybe you should also check the last few paragraphs of your screenshot. Didn't you see where it was written that ships have the right to pass provided they didn't do anything detrimental to the neighboring country it is passing through?

Ships coming to any port in Biafra will not do anything to detrimental to Niger Delta because they will simply sail past peacefully.

You guys will be the ones calling for trouble when you try in any way to harm ships to our country because that will be seen as act of war. You can't sabotage the economic interests of another nation for no reason without expecting severe consequences.

Live and let live!
Anyway, Ubani and Opobo will still be parts of Biafra,

You keep telling me that we fought against you guys during the war;that all the bullets shot outside the Igboland were shot in the SS by Biafran soldiers aimed at killing your people. Let me now ask you "who were the Federal forces fighting with since you claimed the Biafran soldiers fought against you and not the Nigerian soldiers?

imo river has no connection to the Niger river, imo river starts in imo state and flows to the ocean , if this country breaks apart imo river belongs to imo and Akwa ibom the both will have every right to us imo river even to fish in it

Niger river belongs to all the countries it passes through, before a dam or anything major is to be done on Niger river all the countries the river Niger passes through must be involved cause it belongs to all not one

no vessel has passed through Nigeria cause the river Niger hasn't been dredged and no country is interested in bringing vessels through the river Niger yet, but before any of these countries do whatsoever with the Niger river all the countries must be involved

Why are you guys always arguing like bunch of kids.

Can't you see that you need each other and God placed each of you in your location for a purpose.

Why are blacks always divisive, every tribe wants an autonomy.

Honestly I am getting tired of educating this people.

They refuse to understand laws of the seas and the international norms of peaceful passage.

Something in me tells me that they understand but are pretending to be ignorant.

If the igbos know what is coming at them, they would erect statues of the various Niger Delta ethnicities, go on their knees and start worshipping by now.

Instead they are already spoiling for war when their territory is an INDEFENSIBLE SITTING DUCK with no means of military or food supplies to sustain a war.

I pray the war they are spoiling for with us breaks out so that we can annex all southern igbo territories like what Israel did to Lebanon in Golan heights.

Then, their national anthem will change from Abandoned property to ABANDONED TERRITORY.
I pray you guys will attack and that’s the day we will colonize you. I pray to God you guys team up against us. You think a tribe that fought against the whole nation supported by world powers is scared of you guys.

I pray you guys get too confident and attack igbos, that when you will know there is different levels of madness.

And what makes you think Niger Delta Republic will be interested in such discussions with biafra when the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the dredging of River Niger states that it is suicidal to the people of the Niger Delta?
