Because of these professional fraudsters, many of the opportunities to be enjoyed by some of us who wants to earn legitimate income online have been lost. You want to apply for a job online and you find out that you can't do this just because you are Nigerian. If you have had this experience before and you are joining the yahoo boys and armed robbers to call for SARS to be eradicated, you need a brain check.

Tell me what is working in the world and I will mention it's flaws to you. The fact that some SARS officers misbehave does not mean you call for the eradication of SARS. it beats logic. if you mean business, you should be calling for a complete overhaul or reform.

Mention me all you can, I will only grin @ it. This is a forum where you will see Nigerian youth defend corrupt politicians and yahoo boys openly.. so I won't be surprised when these set of people mention me to defend what they believe in.

I don't think you are living in this country. So if somebody is a criminal is it by abducting him, threatening his life and forcing him to withdraw his money for you or killing him the right way to enforce laws? Are you aware of what people are suffering daily in the hands of the ones who are suppose to protect them. Move on our highways and see what both citizens and passengers suffer in the hand of these guys. What those SARS were doing was jungle justice and should be condenm by all. What you just did now is not different from those ones that defend corrupt politicians

Our youths are too preoccupied with the utilization of expensive gadgets at the detriment of our agro-based economy. The recent hike in the prices of rice across the country have the youths to be blamed. Imagine if the youths devote the equal amounts of time they spent in front of their gadgets to agriculture, would there have been an increment in the prices of food stuffs? Imagine if they're spending more time on trees and inside bushes, would Sars still be killing them in scores? The youths are preventing the coming generations from knowing our true calling and the beauty of our culture. Aside crude oil, Nigeria as a nation is known for agriculture as we're still far behind in manufacturing and precise engineering. Our technological feet is strongly questionable as well.

Nigeria needs the youth for agriculture. Simple!

In my view, the acronym "SARS" is synonymous with heinous crimes against not just Nigerians but against humanity. From looting, to extra judicial killings, to intimidation and all evils but it is interesting to note that the police hierarchy are complicit in the matter as they can't say that they are not aware and even if they are not aware, it means they are negligent in their duties. If the FG or IG is even serious, let them take a tour to their cells alongside with some NGO's and see the conditions where people are kept or even see if all those in the cells have a charge sheet against their name. If you are looking for missing persons the first place to visit is SARS cells. It is very unfortunate that these blood thirty criminals with no security background checks found their way in a specialized unit of the police. It is rumored that some of them even pay money to join the unit. Anyway, I hope for the best for Nigeria but police brutality must end.

SARS won’t be banned. I do not support outright ban of SARS. We need a total reform of the NPF. Not only SARS extort, the entire police is guilty of this offense. Our daily policemen extort motorists, pedestrians, civilians unjustly. Even if SARS is banned (which I do not see happening), will we call for a ban of the entire police force too if the extortion and brutality still continues?

Keep at the back of your mind that police is your friend. Armed robbers are not friendly at all, I’ve had an experience with SARS before and I talked with them calmly and politely, I walked away complete and safe, we even ended it with laughter. I do not support their extortion and profiling one bit, but these guys have done some serious good jobs in tracking and arresting hardcore criminals. We shouldn’t throw away the baby with the bath water. We need SARS and the police to maintain some level of safety and decorum in the country.

I share his sentiment but I don't have the time to go about writing on the first page on this topic.

Our surest bet is to truly reform SARS, else, they would be integrated into other units of the police and the brutality continues. Same people, different units.

You cannot end SARS entirely, you can only clip its wings. Even in the U.S. whose democracy is the model to the world, they still experience police brutality even against white. Videos are everywhere. That led to the mother of all protests recently. Police brutality cannot end, really. You wouldn't like that truth but I have to tell you.

A lot of criminals and fraudsters are rejoicing now but I pity the innocent ones. SARS is the toughest and ready-to-play squad in the Nigerian police.

We all know how much these animals fear SARS and pee in their pants when they sight them anywhere. Even armed robbers know where they rob now and avoid high-profile robberies like banks which used to be very common. Ask around, every criminal modafucker dreads SARS.

I wouldn't be surprised I'm wasting my time with a yahoo boy though because no one can really vouch for any of our youth anymore. It's that bad.

I expected such protest on more national burning issues; Ganduje stuffing dollars in babariga, that senator Abba that slapped some one in an indecent store, more transparency and accountability in governance,protesting fuel and electricity hike, Bullion vans entering burdillion in an.election period, mis appropriation of covid 19 feeding funds, lop sided appointment to the north of this administration, herds men marauding, state of security and never changing the incompetent service chiefs, not this that affects what percent of the population; Hope with this few points of mine I AV convinced you without doubt that ain't kemi is right...with out generalising the age bracket though

That is why government is talking about reforming them but reformation cannot be possible where there is extreme poverty . The root cause of sars behaviour is poverty and corruption . Let me give u this example . I use to have a police officer friend when I was staying at iju ishaga ...this guy works with ajuwon police station near akute. One day I just got to his how to receive a shocking news that armed robbers killed him . The painful aspect was that the only shot a few gun salute and drop a token for the family ...till date nobody cares about the people he left behind . Our politicians live a life of luxury while police men are paid chicken fee ....despite the risk they take . Unfortunately they turn there frustration on the citizens . If the government can have serious insurance for the police , goid salary package , good accommodation ...and ultimately making sure that all those they left behind get scholarship to university levels and also get jobs...I can assure you that this sars brutality will disappear. Untill our leaders do the right thing , this nation will never move forward
