Got the battery as a used one about 2yrs ago. I think one of the cells shorted as the battery was warm to touch. Don't think it was overcharge as I set my bulk voltage to 14.5v and it was purely on solar yesterday

Okay, after serving for 4 years, I think it died a natural death. Except for premium brands, most of the batteries on the market don't last up to 4 years.

Oh, I see ... Coz that price is unrivaled in today market... So I want the awoof.



If your mustpower inverter has these profile

Then you are good to go, but if otherwise, the above profile ain't compactible with LiFePO4


And if you can program your CC too, then you might need to put off Utility charging on inverter during the day and use only CC, ... It's just like saying to abandon the charger inside the Inverter to prevent stories that touch.

So i think 202ah cells and not 280ah cells would be a win win config for all.grade A CATL /Eve cells

1cbm is 64 cells, and 1 cell would cost about 80 to 100usd shipping& clearing inclusive.

Seems no serious discount for a group buy, so may be better people banding up to buy and ship 0.5cbm, or less to reduce the risk/temptation inherent in tying up funds with 1 person.

So long as your mustpower has adjustable voltage settings float/bulk it will work for lithium and you don't have do anything special with your powermr cc just select the Lithium charge profile accordingly

Use either AGM1 if you like to stay at 90% SOC max or sealed lead acid if you like to charge up to 100% SOC

3.4units 12v flooded tubular batts, i see so many makes with slight diff in prices, is anyone better than the others?. genus, mecury, luminous etc about 500k

Make sure you buy a C10 and not the rampant C20. The C10 is more expensive. For luminous, you will see solar boldly written on it. It is sad that even the luminous marketers don't know why the "solar" tubular battery is more expensive than the regular tubular battery variants.
Try to read about the differences between C10 and C20. If you have good power supply, C20 may suffice.

It is very bad practice to place/mount your inverter or other electronics over flooded batteries. The fumes from the battery will corrode both chassis and internals over time.

There is a minimum recommended distance between the flooded batteries and other electronics and ideally also they should be installed outdoors or in a well ventilated area.

Thank you for your response. It's actually 2 transformer according to my supplier. Here is my observation. I charged(displayed) charging for 12 hours with 3.5kva maxi generator for 5kva inverter 48v, 200ah, 4 tubular batteries, and after loading it, it only lasted for less than 2 hours...
