Two wrongs dont make a right. Peaceful demonstrations does. If after the peaceful protests nothing is done, then i can tell u for free that anarchy and mayhem will follow suit peradventure any Nigerian dies a careless death in there hands again.

Out of all the pressing national issues, na #endsars people dey carry for head. Nobody should tell me fraudsters haven't hijacked this protest. So hike in fuel, electricity tariffs, epileptic power supply, banditry up north, bogus budgets for Nass etc doesn't caught anyone's attention, it's SARS matter people are so passionate about. SARS case is just a modicum of our numerous problem. The whole police system is faulty and I don't think there's any sector working in Nigeria so to speak. The only mass protest I've been calling for is either outright dissolution of the country or a well defined restructuring.

There’s alternative to every other pressing issues. You cannot bring back a man who’s summarily executed by the blood-thirsty SARS whether as a criminal or an innocent fella.

Imagine, hushpuppi is still alive despite the huge evidence against him. That’s what’s obtainable in sane communities. Even Pablo Escobar wasn’t executed on the street.

Peaceful protests don’t work where leaders don’t care about the people they’re elected to serve.

Look at the monster we made in the Northern part of the country. It got started with protests.

This is bad. They have no right killing the policeman unprovoked. The protest should remain peaceful and the police and the federal govt should as a matter of urgency scrap sars. Thats what the people demand!

But the police have the right to kill unarmed citizens abi?

We should altogether stand as one and condemn the misdeeds of these inexperienced protesters.

There's a popular saying that “your clock cannot dictate my time”. That other countries are currently developing faster than us doesn't mean that Nigeria is doom and will not eventually develop one day. Our time will soon come but we have to be patient enough to experience that. We can't fast forward time by engaging ourselves in a bloody protest. No empire was built in a day.

If only we can channel the amount of energy we're channeling to this protest to agriculture, in a few months time, the price of rice will reduce drastically. The youths make up a significant percentage of our entire population. Imagine what will happen if we leave our leaders to take care of our oil and other national treasures and resources while the youths start farming en mass?

So far we're still lack behind in science and technology, agriculture is a life saver. With all their computer skills what important software have they built for humanity? Funny enough, they'll still give bad roads as an excuse.

Above all, God's time is the best.

Oga don't try to sound wise with wise sayings.
Nigeria is doomed.
Let the secession happen and let Nigeria exist on its own.
God has put people in place to take care but with an endless continuation of maggots in power, what do you expect!?

God's time is best and its time for the new world to emerge

Amen

Policemen in six trucks created panic in Ughelli town yesterday as they searched different areas of the town for persons allegedly behind the killing a policeman during anti-SARS protest on Thursday.
Hoodlums had hijacked an End-SARS protest in Otovwodo area of Ughelli, overpowered two policemen on duty, disarmed one of them and shot him to death with his rifle. The second policeman was seriously wounded and is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital. The hoodlums also destroyed several vehicles.

Yesterday, heavily armed policemen stormed the town in search of “Yahoo Boys who allegedly sponsored the protesters,” shooting endlessly into the air as people scampered to safety.

Over eleven young men were arrested and bundled into the trucks; some were forced to lay in awkward positions in the trucks as they sped to the Ughelli Police command.

The Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Mohammed Adamu, who condemned the “unprovoked and violent attack” on policemen, ordered the Delta state Commissioner of Police to investigate the circumstances that led to the killing of a police officer during an #EndSARS protest in Ughelli, Delta state.

The IGP also directed that the perpetrators of the act, which he described as “cruel,” be brought to book. A statement by Force Public Relation Officer, Frank Mba, stated: “The incident, which resulted in the unfortunate death of one Police officer, Corporal Etaga Stanley attached to ‘A’ Division, Ughelli, Delta State, who was attacked and brutally murdered by the protesters also left another, Sergeant Patrick Okuone with serious body injury sustained from gunshot by the protesters.

“The protesters also carted away one (1) service AK47 rifle with breach no 56-2609008 and 25 rounds of live ammunition that was with the deceased at the time of the incident.

“The IGP, who described the incident as cruel and unwarranted, has warned that the Force will no longer tolerate any attack on its personnel or any member of the law enforcement community by any individual or group protesting under any guise.

“The IGP notes that protest by citizens remain a legitimate means for airing their concerns and views. It must however be carried out with all sense of responsibility and within the confines of the law.”

While condoling the family and friends of the late Corporal Etaga Stanley who paid the supreme price in the service of our dear nation, the IGP also commended the officers of the Delta State Police Command for exercising restraint in the face of the immoral and unjustified provocation.
