Good evening everyone, pls I need your help o experts in the house. My EOD 2005 has been giving this loud noise which emanates very close to the power steering oil container and fan belt for a while. My mechanic said it's the power steering pump initially. It was changed but the sound persisted. He later said the steering rank(as he pronounced it) could be faulty. We fixed it but the sound wont go. Pls what could be the problem?

Good evening everyone, please I need urgent assistance on this. This afternoon while on my way back from ogba, I noticed my car was kind of losing power and gaining it back, also I noticed it has been jerking whenever I slow down since tuesday, was waiting till weekend to go have it checked out. But this afternoon, the car steering got locked, I couldn't match the brake as it was stiff, it felt like the way the car was when it's off, stiff steering and can't pedal down the brake. Happened twice at ogba, I felt it was cos the fuel was low, 2 bars, topped it off, and it just happened again about 15 minutes ago while at ogudu. I really don't know what's going on, called my mechanic about it, but I'd like to know the possible causes, so as not to spend unnecessarily and avoid guess work. 3 people suggested it maybe the fuel filter or fuel pump.

Good day all,

I use a 2005 4cylinder Honda Accord and recently i noticed that on start up my fans come on and go off after some 20 seconds at idle.

It started this odd behaviour recently so i think my thermostat is starting to fail. Funny enough if i hit the thermostat housing a few times and restart the car, the fans don't come on. Then some other time it repeats this after a few drives.

I did a simple scan & these codes came up p0111, p2183, p0122.

So, is the stuck thermostat responsible for these codes and if so, what do i do? Change the thermostat or direct my 'rewire' to remove and inspect the thermostat? Or is it outright change that is the solution?.

Thanks.

Boss the cause of both steering and brake at the same time failing normal operation is low power... your engine is either not working optimally or best option run a freeze frame on your car.

Good evening.
What could be the cause of ignition coil on Honda civic 07 that keeps going bad. When one coil goes bad, the car would just not accelerate in motion. I would have to switch off engine and put on again then it moves. The last one I changed, the car wasn't accelerating at all and the check engine light was blinking.

Limp mode!!

Scan the the ride and post codes

Car was scanned and got these codes

P0141- O2 Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heater Circuit
P2185 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
P0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected

The ignition coil in the cylinder 2 was changed. But just two days after, I noticed the same issue and found out the coil in cylinder 3 has also gone bad. This has also been changed. I'm just curious if there could be any fault leading to the damage of the ignition coils.

Resounding YES. Looks good, great maneuverability which is a must in Lagos traffic, good on gas for a three row SUV, tons of features (recommend at least tech package) COMFORTABLE and RELIABLE.

Thanks for this..would lock it in then. Would do the maintenance at yours when I get it.

Good day good people,

The gear stick on my 2007 Accord is strong. Selects well, you just have to apply a bit of force to move it around.

Has been like this for over a year.

Advices please.

That's the problem. Electrical. Liquid touched something. That's an electrical circuit code. If instrument cluster is not giving strange readings for PRND, clear code and move on. Check back in a week to see if it reappears.

Hello guys. Please how much would it cost to change the shock absorber of a 2006-2007 Honda civic. I am about to buy a used Honda civic with the shock absorber fault on the back right side. Should i be advised to change just that part or the entire back? And cost.
