Good morning fam, pls how do i go about a rider that claimed he made a transfer to me but it’s 3 days now i have not been credited. I have called him to explain the situation but he said he can’t do 2 transfers claiming he has done it hence he is not going to do it again. I reached out to bolt about the situation and bolt said they have blocked him until he pays before they will unblock him. So early this morning i saw his chat that i reported him to bolt so therefore there is nothing he is going to do. I told him wen he pays they will unblock him. The funny part is i try to be civil in my conversation with him but the guy is very callous. The trip is from inside festac to ikeja, #4800. This is the first time since a year am in this work but never experienced it. Experience drivers can advice pls.

Sorry bros, pls was the request on surge?

Honestly, what part of "Don't accept bank transfers" is hard to understand? Here's how I used to do it in those days:
Me: I'm ending your trip now. Here is it - your fare is #5,000.

Rider: Ok. [Brings out phone]. Give me your account number, let me transfer to you.

Me: Aahhh, I'm sorry, I can't use my account. Some yahoo boys have hacked it. I lost my phone 2 weeks ago. I'm sure that's what they used. They stole #50,000 from the account.

Rider: Oh, sorry about that. So what do we do now?

Me: We can use an ATM around. It won't take us up to 5 minutes. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bros, i see no harm in collecting transfer, I've been collecting transfer for a year and will definitely continue.

The problem is how you handle the situation with your rider.

1st is get your internet banking app

2ndly, politely tell your rider they will remain in your car till you confirm the money in your account, tho, this isn't applicable to every riders, you just have to use your discretion to observe rider that wants to scam you.

I've had to leave many riders once they claim they have made the transfer without me seeing their successful transfer transaction or even confirm it from my app, i will just tell them i trust you, its base on how we have related while i will ask some to wait for confirmation...

A friend of mine wanted to transfer ₦3100 to the driver after a ride and she mistakenly sent ₦31,000. Now the guy is no longer taking her calls.
I instructed her to come here and present her proof so that we can help her track down the driver and recover her money, just like we've helped when one of ours is in such situations.

Please, she'll be here shortly... In any way we can, let's help her out.

Not accepting transfer is practically impossible with present situation out here, unless u want to keep getting confrontional with rider's always

It's not camry, corolla or Civic?

Get ready for NO from every angle.

But then, V6 consumes fuel more i THINK, so maybe you should find something that consumes less fuel for profit sake. Apart from this, good maintenance culture makes all cars wonderful. Avoid extremely Nigerian used too
