recievesense:what you need to do is to check what the entry requirements are for the country you are heading to. It really isn't the airlines requesting a PCR test but the countries they are flying you to. If your destination requires a negative PCR test, then British Airways or any airline you intend to fly will be mandated to see the result before you board Hope this helps 1 Like |

dives:No need to worry, I am sure if you dash them something you can leave with your passport. Even if they want to collect it, you could just " lose it" . How can they collect a passport that you have lost? Even if you hand in you passport, ensure it is only your Nigerian passport you give them and let them keep it. Don't be going for any nonsense coro test oo. When you need to fly out again use your other International passport, kapish! |

Pinky:Don't worry just ruck up to the airport ready to purchase a flight ticket. Everything else will fall in place. Don't take the test, if it is required and they ask whether you had taken it say yes. They don't ask for proof. I learnt from this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRhZU4Kbgt8#menu |

Even if they do, it will not be a direct flight. It will be routed through their hub in Nairobi. GenBuhari: |

Please I have a question... Does anyone know if the pre boarding covid test starts to count from your first flight even though you are still in your country of residence? So say I have 3 connecting flights, the first two flights are in the same country but different locations, does the pre boarding test hours start from the first location or the second location? Also, the airline I am using within country is not listed on the NCDC portal should I just select the airline that will actually be taking me into naija? Thank you for your help... |

Since flights have resumed in Nigeria, people have not only started flying in and out of Nigeria, but those wanting to relocate to another country have started taking drastic steps The Canadian government has made room for more immigrants. Relocate to Canada through a tested and trusted pathway, which is the Rural and Northern Canada Immigration Blueprint, even if you didn't pass IELTS. It's very affordable and you can get your Canadian Permanent Residence in 6-9 months. Please send me a WhatsApp message to get the FREE video and learn more: +2349052160014 1 Like |

ukay2:does the 96 hours starts counting from the time of the test of from the time the result was received? |
Re: Nigerian Airspace Reopening: Share Your Travel Experience Post-lockdown by Nobody: 10:50am On Oct 11, 2020 |
9africa: From the time of testing, and it is now 120 hours, not 96 hours. |

[quote author=ottiz post=94827967] From the time of testing, and it is now 120 hours, not 96 hours.[/quote This whole thing is really confusing, for someone that has to fly an 11:30 flight how then do I match the hours cos obviously no test centre will be open to test that late to match the hours required before boarding |
Re: Nigerian Airspace Reopening: Share Your Travel Experience Post-lockdown by Nobody: 12:16pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
@9africa I don't quite understand you, but basically, what they are saying is that you should have a negative Covid-19 test result prior to boarding the first flight, and the testing must have occurred not more than 5 days (120 hours) prior to boarding, preferably 3 days (72 hours). I believe this is fair, since most labs have about 48 to 96 hours turnaround time. So, if your flight is at 11:30 AM on October 17th, you should try and schedule your test for October 12th (from 2:00 PM, to play it safe) or October 13th (anytime). This will give ample time to get the results back in time for your flight. Remember, this is the PCR test, not the rapid (Antigen) test. |

Re: Nigerian Airspace Reopening: Share Your Travel Experience Post-lockdown by Nobody: 5:47pm On Oct 11, 2020 |
