its better they redeploy the current sars to the military. maybe under some kind of sub-military group. then a new recruit of fresh graduate into anti robbery and kidnapping intelligent squad, then pick some soldiers among them. 50% of soldiers should act as the combactant. 10% civil defends, 10% Police, and 30% fresh new recruit. because southerners are the current thieves in sars. the Nigeria military should do 50% of the recriut, 70% northerners. the Nigeria civil defends 10% of the recriut, 60% northerners. the Nigeria DSS 10% of recriut, 60% northerners. the Nigeria police 30% of the recriut. 60% northerners. the list of all the recriut should then be forwarded to the IGP to form a new robbery and kidnapping team. the police should not be allowed to do the recriut alone. when all the groups are mixed up to form a single units under the police that fight robbery and kidnapping and other local insurgence. You ended up not ending SARS but re-Integrating them back to normal police force... Soon another name will be created for it to operate. Who win? This is just waste of time and space as same stupid elements are still within police force. I expected something more higher like increasing welfare and special salary on the unit while putting qualification as at least a degree holder of not less than second class lower with certification in security or any related training from a notable firm.. Upon admitted must be trained specially for at least 7 months on special operations.... While properly redeploying the current SARS officers back to unit or giving them out to banks or firms as securities. That way they can be smoothly eased out of random police operations. Impossible! Maybe temporarily anyway. They'll be infused into the various units of the Nigerian police force and dutifully do their job. You cannot subdue the government to any unnecessary pressure. How did SARS an anti armed robbery unit start to concern themselves with internet fraud which is an EFCC affair and Police antifraud unit's work who don't move with guns? If you're one of those who keeps saying only fraudsters want SARS to end then may calamity befall your and your next generation ten times fold. I'm a Music Producer, Instrumentalist currently learning web development. I know how many times I've been harassed by these animals early Monday mornings on my way to the studio. Are yahoo boys glad about it ending? Yes they will be, let the battle between fraudsters be between them and EFCC, but not all young folks re into fraudulent activities.
