Going by his relevant insights on this thread, I assure you that when I say we, do not use that word lightly

Oga, this is a public forum. You have absolutely no right to talk about a ‘we’ on this thread. It is open to everyone please.

I dont think it is just one man alone that tumbled the thread...i also blame those of us here also who couldnt simply unlook and ignore. Those that descended low to exchanging words are also to blame...

Regardless of your financial status if you can not learn to master your emotions in a faceless forum then you really arent too different in my own opinion.

Comeon!!!

Very well then. If you say so.

However, this particular thread is an elite one, one in which people share ideas and present their opinions based on their areas of specialty. Usually everyone drops their gutter behaviour once they enter here whether or not the person has a mental disorder, audio billionaire or not, at least that has been the practice over the years.

Very true. In fairness to transatlantic, he did not start today's debacle. He reacted instead.

Elite? Hahahaha. You are very funny. You keep throwing insults about mental disorder when you do not know me. Is that how elite people behave where you come from? If I return your insult now, it will be another thing. Guy, let this be the last time you will be insulting me please. I hope that is clear?

You have been saying that since July yet not one shred of proof other than he visits olosho's thread. How that proves anything beats me.

If anyone has even been bragging, it has been you. Rarely does ahib brag, he just talks about his job from time to time including his challenges. How does that prove that he is trying to show off as Dangotte? I don't understand your logic at all.

Also, why is it so important to you to let us know he is audio when so far he been of benefit to us by sharing his experiences with us.
I Wonder why he's so bitter of him too!

I think my mistake is that I still ended up with about 13M in exposure to Naira. Despite the fact that i converted a huge sum of my savings to dollars arnd Dec/Jan for eventuality sake i still convinced myself to leave this much in Naira just in case of incasity. If i had known i wld have left only about 3M in Naira as a safety net.

Lessons learnt sha.

This reminds me of the tribal wars dat used to happen on nl like 3 or 4 years ago. Those guys were brutal with their verbal attacks. There was one woman who was prominent in d e-fights back then, she was also living in d diaspora, she was in favor of d Yorubas, I don't forget her moniker, she sabi post pictures eh. grin

TransAtlanticEx would have made a formidable asset in favour of d Igbo factions, u get mouth.

But, where u dey back then, d Yorubas seemed to have a upper hand then, u for deliver victories for us na.

The investment mistake I made

Or will I say the investment opportunity I missed

Was to sit on the sidelines when the carnage of March /April was in full swing

Taking some reasonable positions in Nestle, (<N800)
Zenith (<N11) and even Wapco and a few others I had in my radar then would, by now have paid off big!

While I remained on the sidelines hesitant
The brave ones took their positions
And are reaping bountiful from it.

This is not to say that there were no gains
But indecisiveness made me lose out on a big opportunity
AGAIN!
The lessons learnt from this, is that

1)dont have the "end of the world mentality, it won't l. No matter the gloom or panic, it will pass over
Which leads to the second

2) A fundamental company shares will always survive the storm, regardless of what happens. As long as the company has not had structural blows to the chin, even if the share price is going down, if you are liquid, buy more, and more.

Looking back in hindsight
I'm glad I'm among the living who survived the pandemic

Not so happy about the lost opportunities

But the lessons learnt are tattooed to my heart.

That's about it...

Wow!

Now that you mentioned it

This is another lost opportunity I kind of regret as well.
I knew this devaluation was imminent

But I did not act on time to hedge enough
But like I said
We thank God that at least we survived the year

And look forward to better things going forward in future..

Exactly, what works for A may not work for B. Wealth is not for everyone, some people are givers and some are receivers for example ; if i ask 10 people on this thread to donate N10k each with me for 24 hours and receive 50k each same time tomorow, what do you think will come to their minds ? Your thoughts are similar to mine but only the risk takers will invest the amount and this represents 40 percent.

Let's bring it down to N2k each to receive N5k in 24 hours, this time not just the risk takers but peoole whose disposable income is far less than N2k.

I will be giving out cash rewards soon ONLY to those ready to re-activate their potential.
