Not justifying anything....but excuse me sir.....all you wrote up there is too one sided and judgemental and the height of it all ..you relate the incident to a very sensitive case of bolt driver working for SARS (it's even saddening when such statements comes from someone who you except should understand that 80% of drivers have dual or triple platforms they partnered )

Always remember that for every situation, their is sides to the story....even from the video shared all the guy did was try to hit the girls phone from recording his face (knowing fully well our her own one sided statement can be use to judge the guy without hearing his own side)

Check some of the comments on those who reached out to the guy.

Read what i posted again. It's sure the rider must have vex the driver. I stated it boss mi.

So i said he no suppose take am to this extent. Now e don affect am. They don block the guy. He is now still threatening the girl, he de make matter worse.

People wey de shout say drivers de work with SARS go de use am justify the rumour.

Na weytin me i de concerned about be that say shey e no go too affect drivers like this.

E de give worries oga mi

Make drivers shaa de do well make small ones wey de spoil the name no spoil am pata pata.

Really, there's nothing wrong in what the driver did. He's simply rendering a service!

When I was an e-hailing driver, I used to do it and I didn't feel anyhow about it. I know countless times in the airport that I will go and meet rider at the terminal and collect the luggage and wheel all the way to the car park. It's a mindset thing. It's just a job.

With all due respect this kind talk dey tire me. The service you're rendering is driving them from point a to point b and not doing kaya work. I am not here trying to justify anything, but you when get load, if you no put hand, then I ain't touching nothing. The least I'll do is to open boot for you.

I don't blame some human beings in this life. The person I blame a little is God who keeps on creating "Very useless things" that leave their brain offline before coming online to type, tweet or comment.

I find it funny when people accuse Bolt drivers of taking riders to Sars officers. This is a blatant twist of truth.

What I find even more funnier is that same folks are advising same riders to take Uber or "others" instead of Bolt.

If I will ask, is it not same drivers that are on Uber are on Bolt too?

What changed?

You are extremely insensitive and out of line by blaming our one and only creator!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!

That's just it.
1. I must be in the mood to help
2. The loads must be many that you can't carry everything at once or very big that you can't lift alone
3. You must have carried some or have attempted to lift.

You cannot just stand like THE boss and expect me to start carrying your stuffs, sorry I'm not getting paid for that

Hmmmm... Sometimes/Most time I find it very difficult to give advice to issues that relate to career because I do nit have a comprehensive history on what/where to base my advice.

I'll try not to advise you out of your mind. Because, "Where the heart of a man is nothing can take his eyes away from it"

Anyways, it's obvious you're tired with your present job already and want to try other means. But have you thought about this new line interest of yours? It's not a professional job oooh. It doesn't add any professional knowledge or skills to your CV, et el. The truth is, you're not tired of thw teaching job but of the environment and low pay.

Since you have sb you can stay with for a while in Lagos, you can consider this.

Hold on to your present job in IB while you make a short visit to Lagos/Abuja and then apply for same job position since you already have experience, continue with your present job till a good offer with better pay comes by then you relocate.

For you not to lose the opportunity of the loan from the relative, take the risk, while on your short visit to Abuja/Lagos look for a 2003 Honda Civic Nigeria use preferably in Abuja. Hausas love Honda a lot and they maintain cars like their wives so you'll get a good deal in FCT for N500k-N650k.

When you've gotten a car and done with your registration on both Bolt and uber then you can relocate fully to either state of your choice and kick start.

When a better offers comes by you can then merge it with the driving after school at 2/3pm daily then week ends. You need that job to stay aflaute because there weeks a car will guve you problem and you wont be having any income. You salary can come in to your rescue.

Don't just relocate once to join your friend(s) anywhere, and plan not to stay too long with anyone in their own apartment. Good friendship can be destroy when they both come together to live under same roof. So be careful

In all "do not despise a little beginning".
... No matter how little the teaching job is giving you don't drop it for a driving job. GEJ was once a teacher, only to mention of few of them.

Good luck in making your decision.
Thank you for the advice, I'm really grateful.

I just dropped some stupid girls off at sweet sensation yaba.

Got this trip at Ebute Metta

Rider: Oga where are you?
Me: I’m close to the street
Rider: ok hurry please am late (tiny useless voice)
Me: on getting there I notified her.

She entered the car with her friend “oga Na adekunle we go follow” I replied with okay

Rider; Oga I love your car Increase the ac put the radio in soundcity. Oga increase the volume.
Me: me be like ok oh

Rider at the back put her dirty leg on my back seat brought out food and doing snap (haha what nonsense)

I politely tell the one in front that I don’t allow people eating in my car. Also, she can’t seat like that it’s not proper.

The lady hiss with terrible Yoruba words (ogaooo radarada kiniwongbe) seems like I’m saying rubbish.

I didn’t want to react and there destination is Unilag. So on getting to adekunle, these stupid girls tell me to follow Makoko that they’re going through there. I simply told them that the car am driving is low and also she’s aware the road is bad can’t plight the route.

Hmmm only legends on this hustle will understand how these oloshos react after rejecting their offer. I was mad with their reactions I just end the trip at sweet sensation and they later shouting they ain’t gonna pay me and all shit.

Trip ended 400 I report got refunded

But if I’m hot tempered I could’ve react and it’ll turn to violent so please let’s always hear other side of the story. Nigerians no get chill for anything especially those small runs girls

I have cleared this before oga mi. I said, the rider must have vexed the driver. Whatever the rider must have done if NOT involved in weapons or attempted murder, the guy shouldn't have in anyway harassed the rider.

Riders can step, jump, bite, pee on someone's nerve but sometimes, you gats reason beyond now before you act, it's for your own good.

If they reach police now and from the investigation, the rider no even touch the driver, na just yab she yab, but he beat am, police no go hear yabbing o. So far touching no de.

Na weytin i de tok be that o boss.

I had something like this yesterday night. 5 oloshos flagged me down inside Lekki County around 11pm. They pleaded with me to take them to Chevron drive toll gate. I charged them 1k, which they agreed. On getting there, it appears they were given wrong info na so dey said I should take them to Lekki Phase 1.i told them that is another fare and besides I couldn't afford taking all the hefty 5 of them like that down to Lekki. Na so them change am ọ, started raining abuses on me. Menh, I went livid. Haven't used pepper spray for a while, but immediately one of them slapped me from back, na to spray idiot. Of course, I won't lay my hands on you before you start crying. Come and see aw they messed up my car with drinks.
So, before blaming driver, so far na Olosho matter, ask for the stories wella o. These umutete oloshos are something else. And na dem dey give drivers wàhálà with their 1 star rating.

Very much on point.
I broke up with Uber after more that 3 years of sticking to their app alone.
2 weeks ago ,my account was suspended for 2 days due to high rate of cancellation.
Then I ported to indriver. Mehn! Smart drivers will never want to drive on any app companies again except indriver start charging commission.
I don't do more than 4 trips in a day, My target is met for the day.
No more driving to dead zones again, I select my trips.
No more where are we headed?
