If a lion strays to the Jungle/rain forest or unfamiliar territories, it wouldn't live for 5 days.

Lions are are not king of the jungle go and watch nateo wide and see what happen when an equal number of lions met equal number of elephants on a stream drinking water they went to the extreme end of the stream to drink avoiding the elephants at all cost and one lion can't kill one elephant unless they are many

The point is, lions are killers and fiercer. Even if it takes more than one to kill an elephant, they still come together and do it. On the other hand, elephants are ruminants. They wouldn't just go killing or intimidating other animals for no reason. So lions command more fear thus the title. Which one would your rather face, a lion or an elephant?

The only problem is that they don't even live in the jungle. Hehe... I know the title has come to be a status than anything else "but king of animls" would have made more sense.

As apex predators, lions still hunt and eat buffalos even if it takes more than one to do it. Lions are killers. They feed on flesh and they are basically designed to kill and therefore are far fiercer than buffalos. Buffalos are ruminants. They are aggressive when threatened but aren't exactly killing machines. They don't command as much fear as a lion. Which of these two animals would you rather encounter? grin

male lions are very lazy and only hunt when they want to. The lionesses are The real queens and deserve accolades.
A Grizzly bear will even kill a lion not to talk more of polar bears
