There is nothing arrogant about ASUU on IPPIS. It is all about a group of people who know their right and exercise it when needed. Why must they accept IPPIS which is full of errors regarding their payments. An employee should never look at himself as a slave to the employer. You are offering hard earned skills to whoever employ you and they are doing you no favor by employing you in the first place.

But was the strike really about IPPIS? They were already on strike due to non implementation of various agreements with government. The IPPIS issue came in later

Somebody is still cashing out with IPPIS.

IPPIS is fraught with a lot of irregularities which the proponents have refused to look into.

If UTAS is the solution that will give ASUU a level playing field, so be it.

Ending the strike will make the protest worst if u don't know. Bocs parents won't be able to stop their children from protesting once they are in school. A lot of youths who wanted to protest but couldn't were wishing the strike was over so their parents won't stop them.

You sound as if the employers aren't there to represent them. My brother, we're in era of democracy. ASUU has the right to reject any system put up by FG, especially if it will not favour the entire university community.

There is nothing arrogant there. ASUU told FG about the peculiarities in the university system but FG ignored them(they were not even ready to correct anything.that was the reason NASU and SSANU went on strike too). Even the OAGF admitted that the things ASUU complained about is true.
