Anybodie:

Visa Application fee is 62,400NGN while the SEVIS fee is $350 (The Naira equivalent depends on the exchange rate the day you're making the payment)

You can get schedule an interview before your I-20 arrives, you need you SEVIS number on the I-20 to fill your DS-160 and schedule and appointment. If your school can provide you with a soft copy of your I-20 then you can go ahead and schedule an interview

Pay the 62,400NGN visa application fee if you've not done that already,
Fill the DS160 form at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/.
Create your visa application profile and complete the registration at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome and schedule an interview date if any is available
Generate your coupon for the SEVIS fee payment at https://fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html

Do your own research, I would have listed them but I don't want to omit any

Great guy! Thank you so so much, u made my day. God bless u.

Some people are not worth replying. If you ignore him, he'll get tired. For someone who spends majority of his time on an irrelevant and failed dating and meet up thread, you can only expect such statements.

Good day, Mr. Fairheart. Can I send you an email? I'd be brief and direct.

fairheart:

Your attitude is very annoying. You may be academically sound, but you need to learn to be understanding and listen to those who knows better than you. Most of the people who have been on this thread for a long time, contributing, advising, giving listening ears and even supporting strangers financially, are not your mates. Lagosismyhome is trying to correct and educate you, yet, you remain defensive.
This manner will likely make more people ignore you. Classroom education should not be subtituted for manner. Learn and move on!

Please, who has received an appointment date for Abuja recently? I requested for an emergency VISA appointment since Thursday & nothing yet till now.

Can I request a date from Lagos even though my DS-160 interview location is LAGOS?

Abuja is just slow.

Anyone that is serious about studying in the US or any foreign country, would have to cultivate the habit of reading and research and quit thinking anything would be offered to them on a silver platter. That is what entitlement means. Some people here have read this thread from start to finish to find answers, intact reading just 10 pages of it might give you answers and when you do not get the answers you seek, you ask persistently until someone knowledgeable in that aspect answers. Attitude is everything and I just saw an unfortunate person abuse @lagosismyhome, who we all know doesn't need to be here, but she comes here to advice and on countless occasions assisted applicants with application fees, GRE fees, Toefl etc all on this thread. That is how someone might abuse their helper and blame village people all in the bid to chase clout. I hope you do understand what I mean.

Curious2020:
secousse!

Didn't you ask questions on this thread?
I Don't know if you're currently in the US, if yes didn't you ask questions before you got there?

Because una go dey talk wetin una no do fr una time. I bet you don't know the meaning of "enquiries". You'd not type rubbish.

OK thanks! wink

Let me ask you, because I asked a question does it mean that I haven't done my research? And besides you should have meticulously read what I wrote before you quoted. I didn't ask questions that showed that I havent done research. So person wey choose 20 schools no do enough research abi? Come and see my browser search history. I asked if "I can pay for the css profile using a Nigerian Bank account. + anyone who gained admission for UG studies", I wanted to remove One college whose application is giving me headache.

Unlike some random nairalander who'd just say this is my stats; GPA bla bla... chances getting admitted? undecided

Biko read wella before you quote

Email the international student center of your school, explaining to them you have set up an account with eshipglobal and made payment for the courier service. You can also chat with the eshipglobal representative online. The courier service would not be able to do anything until they get the document from your school.
RukayatAkanji:
Hi guys, pls anyone here that I've made use of FedEx for shipment. I made the payment for the shipment on Friday lastweek, through UEMS eshipmentglobal.com. I've been checking the site since then, still the same information I'm seeing on it, info like: not yet shipped, your university has been notified. I wonder if the document have been received from the university at all. Anyone that have used them or know how they work should say something pls.

This might help someone.

To celebrate home coming anniversary, Kent State’s application fee will be waived from October 20th-27th. You should plan to submit your application then if you haven’t submitted.
