Touts are currently at Alausa with weapons. I'm here at the scene scared for my life.

Cutlasses, scissors etc.

There are scattered protesters on ground.-Aproko Doctor

cool

Abi Na the disbanded SARS who came for revenge , why were police men not on ground for normal patrol

These are clearly bus drivers and agberos who are pissed off for blocking the highway and reducing their income

If they block Iwo road axis in Ibadan again similar violence might repeat it's self while Police wouldn't respond...

If you no get work no block road for people going to work, after covid 19 lockdown bills have pilled up yet you are blocking roads again

Its a strategic move by the government since they cant use the police or military to dislodge the protesters.

The idea is for the protesters to counter by using arms. When that happens, the forces can now move in and say the protests have become violent.

Its going to be a very difficult one.

This is front page news, why are the mods delaying in moving this to the front page?

The last thread on this topic was moved to the crime section.

People need to see this.

I’m glad there’s social media, the world is watching, government paying thugs to attack protesters who are only asking for a reformed police.
Peaceful protesters got killed, Sars has been killing people and not even one police man has been arrested and some idi*ts on nairaland wants us to stop protesting.

I am just praying that, all those Buhari advisers should continue encouraging him, the moment he unleashes the military, he has given us a reason to petition HAGUE!
This is 2020, not 1974, you can’t just kill people and get away with it.

THIS GENERATION WILL CHANGE NIGERIA FOR GOOD

They are tired of watching their kids almost starving to death.

Now that the FG has banned SARS, high time to wait for a while to see the major implementation and if things remain the same, (instead of all these fights among citizens) then the mother of all protest may come after then. My personal opinion.
All lives matter.
Firstly! Alausa protest is in front of the government house, and okada has been banned on major roads so what are you even talking about, you Buhari apologist are really insane, you keep defending a failure even when it is clear that your master is a failure.

You think we would trust this government to carry out those reforms, same government that have not arrested any police man for the killing of innocent protesters.
You Buhari supporters think we are all dumb like you.
We keep protesting until government implement every reform we asked for, we don’t want promises, we all know Buhari never keeps to any of his promises.

IMPLEMENT IS IMMEDIATELY!

Blocking major highways can't go down with bus drivers, conductors and agberos,it's only a matter of time they start reacting and police won't interfere... If you watch the clips they came in cormercial bus..

At Iwo road we were kept in traffic's for hours, and everyone were pissed

Oh Lord, send Angels to keep your children today.
They have sent thugs today in buses and scores of bikes to attack us
We rally not for hate, but to deliver our brothers and sisters.
Therefore let all the souls of compatriots departed, rest not, but fight today.
Arise oh departed. Don't sleep.
Fight SanwoOlu's govt and his backers.
Fight Buhari's govt and his backers.
Let your blood come alive.
Amen.

Can the government stand the Army of the masses if we finally agree to turn violent, we would devour every one of them. We didn't ask for much, our only request is to tell your officers not to kill us but they find it hard to do. We pray it doesn't end up like the Arab Spring because there will be no forgiveness.
