Please can any one tell me nice posh area for young family to move in Manchester or Greater Manchester?
Please I need answers

I stay in Manchester, around Moston, because good food and African shops is accessible, salon, shopping mall, business centres, food vendors, car repairs. And you can easily go to Piccadilly to have fun buy stuffs. You can visit the Manchester Arndale shopping mall where you have various shopping malls and stores. And not too far from Manchester Fort (another set for shopping malll and foodies) smiley

Question- is WorldRemit a good way of sending airtime for a person’s phone to Nigeria? Or is there a more recommended way of doing so? Thanks.

It appears that spending the big bucks is not a problem for you- which is impressive.

You don’t need to worry about references. Seriously.

Just pay for 6 months upfront, and no letting agency would ask for no damn reference.

With cash at hand, bullshit would work......... wink

Insightful.
By any chance, do you know what the status of the income earned by a Tier 4 dependant would be?
I gather than my earnings by way of salary from Nigeria, which are taxed here, might/will be exempt from tax in the UK?
What about earnings from side businesses/rental property etc., which is generally not taxed (or rather upon which no tax is generally paid in Nigeria) - any idea what the tax treatment in the UK would be?

Get yourself a tax accountant.

I used to use WorldRemit (freaking expensive) until I found out that I can actually do it from my naija bank account. If you have one, just check if the feature is available.

The best thing to do is to set up your Internet or Mobile banking account with your 9ja account. You can send Airtime from #100. If your account doesn't have Internet banking, you can request it from UK.

What is your take on a business analyst role in the i.t section.

Ps its under the shortage list

Very lucrative but getting saturated. It helps if you have an IT background if you’ll work in Tech (lol contrary to what the name indicates).

RalphJean:

Is there a company that would employ a Business Analyst from Abroad and issue a CoS?

@ Aphrodite
This is your territory.
Kindly help. I am interested in this answer too.

I don’t think so. You have to be exceptional for that to happen because the BA market is getting saturated and I’ve seen companies transition their project managers into BA (weird); some even employ just anyone and train them to become BAs. So e go hard.

I'm tempted to say it's impossible to get sponsorship as a Business Analyst but then again I used to work with a QA that was sponsored straight from India so you don't want to underestimate the power of luck.

Generally, sponsorship is geared towards experienced developers/engineers that knows their stuff.

If that QA is an automation tester, they will hire from Antarctica sef. There is shortage of QA Testers.

My question isn't based on being outside the country though. Asking in terms of someone who has come in as a student

Of course. They will hire you if you’re here. Get the necessary certification(s), learn the BA basics, equip yourself with IT/Software knowledge (to make you stand apart from others).

It doesn’t matter what type of visa u have, Salisbury is a very upper class town ... with a lot of pensioners about ...
If you’ve got the resource it is a very nice town to live and raise your family.. you can get a train into London just over 1.2hr ....

Lastly it’s a very English town mostly white resident( not really diverse). If that’s not a problem for you then it’s a good place
