Do confirm 28 bucks American style is for a 5 quarts jug and the extra 3 quarts? If yes, make I dey run my email order draft first
How much is that in Naira? Note it's for conventional oil

My guy, I am guessing you’re looking for justification why I would buy that, yeah? First things first, I am only interested in the weight 5w-30 - I’ve used Castrol, Mobil 1 (Advanced Full Syn and the conventional) and recently tried Total’s Quartz 9k. I think I’m not missing anything by going old fashion. Secondly, the savings I’ll make will add a bottle of another type of “oil” to my depleted collection. wink

Some NL newbies may not be familiar with who we are and what we do. We are an American auto repair franchise and repair ALL car brands with warranties and sell authentic parts with warranties as the first African location of America's largest part chain (Carquest/Advance Auto Parts). Here's a taste. And NO, we are not as expensive as you think we are cool

Hello,

You can actually look up anything you want at any time with the instructions here https://www.nairaland.com/post/92790045

If you have a hard time please let me know. Also, we would love to open a couple in the southeast of we can find like minded people to run it. This only works if the owner is in ground to run it everyday or the quality suffers.

We wasted a ton shit of money on a club last year (haven't still recovered from that financial loss). I'll make a case for Calabar and Uyo (leaning heavily towards the latter), assuming the cost for franchising falls between 10m - 15m? Not even looked at equity and or working capital? Wahala dey!

Are there that many cars in Calabar or uyo to sustain or give a return on investments?
pH looks ripe to me for such. Very few of such workshops exist in pH. There are companies who would sign up immediately with their fleet of cars if the franchise and link to original spare parts is flaunted. I'd advice Port Harcourt.

Very valid points chief. After P.H, Uyo has my money - not even Calabar apart from the sentimental attachment. Enugu won't do badly either (they have dealerships ranging from Mercedes to Kia), but Uyo shows promise. Just like Calabar they have some stealerships scattered here and there but Uyo has the top mulla.

I wish it could but it won't. It's hard to find a business that has as good as ROI as this in Nigeria but it requires an active, honest, attentive owner undecided

Thanks for the insight.. is have never thought of Uyo. We are thinking 2 more locations in Lagos State, one each in Ibadan, Abuja, PH, Enugu and the rest up in the air.

Herein lies the challenge. For example the stealerships here are just rebranded kazeems. I remember my ordeal at the hands of Mandilas, Calabar for an ordinary Lexus IS. I doubt with that kind of attitudinal disposition towards effective repairs they will break-even without having to rely on sharp practices.

Abuja is a given. Lovely place with less tax intrusions as Lagos, and actual people who can pay to fix their cars properly. P.H is also up there, plenty servicing firms that can be pre-qualified for long term framework agreements in respect to their vehicles repairs and maintenance. Enugu has a lot of dealerships already. Don't know much about Ibadan, been there once. Oron-Ikot Ekpene-Eket all have lots of millennial millionaires courtesy of Oil drilling and servicing firms too who will always converge in Uyo. It's a very small and linear state, which means one dealership in Uyo is within an hour reach of most of your customers.

Thanks for the insight. What I've discovered since moving back is that the average Nigerian business doesn't understand the power of customer loyalty. The goal is to make a killing off each customer at all costs that's why your bolded. That's why it's been so hard for us to find franchisees. The philosophy is very different. And we expect franchisees to abide by it.

Which reminds me..

**CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY SNEAK PEEK**

I scratched my head wondering how best to show appreciation to NLers. I didn't want to give something that is quickly consumed. Based on what I see everyday it seems there is a real need for people to be able to do basic code reading to inform/assist their mechanics (and know when they are being had), if I'm to accomplish my goal of changing the auto repair industry in Nigeria.

All 12 of these will be given away in December. I am still thinking of a fun, fair way to accomplish that. Input will be appreciated.

As always, thank you NLers. We may squabble but at the end of the day it is all love cool

Thanks for the giveaway gesture.
My suggestion is NLers who are customers can put in entry for the giveaway with receipts of repairs or patronage as proof. An Instagram live draw can solve the issue of people coming together physically.

Great to hear ma’am, thank you very much. Now the small detail of getting it down to Calabar. Also, do you by chance happen to know what this symbol beneath the park indicator mean? Was flashing vigorously this morning on My Tacoma - I am fairly certain I don’t have a scanner that can point me in the right direction.
