Nobody likes SARS yes.... but from what I know SARS has been fighting boko haram too and because of SARS A lot of communities in Rivers states enjoyed peace.... now that they are gone insecurity some riverine communities has increased. There are a lot of things to protest about infrastructure? insecurity? bad government? restructuring? food security? ASUU strike? it is just a waste of protest and energy.

now listen you this IGNORANT FELLOW.
I am guessing you're a very young boy who has never seen the times when Nigeria was still riding on the oil boom.
NIGERIA WOULD HAVE BEEN RIVALLING DUBAI IN TIMES OF WEALTH IF OUR LEADERS WERE NOT SELFISH.
Do you know the amount of grants Nigeria received for close to 60 years post covid19?
Do you know the BILLIONS we made from oil every year post covid19?
Do you know the BILLIONS worth of raw, natural resources lying unused in our soils due to the sheer ignorance and greed of our "leaders"?

no, you don't know. if not, you would've terminated this nonsense that came out from your mouth before you said it.

go and educate yourself. Nigeria didn't start in 1990

do know what is a 3trillion dollars military budget?

if you do u will understand even in the next 40yrs(lets make it an 100yrs) we can't spend that much money on our military.

Even your current Dubai can't spend that money it is just madness....

mind you the richest man in the world can't have more than a 70billion dollars bill..

Protesting against bad government is better than ending SARS.

you have still refused to give a GOOD reason why Nigeria under the right hands won't be able to spend that amount of money after 60 years in the right leadership

I have given my reasons, you are evading and being vauge.

the US you are worshipping, what resources do they have that we don't? in terms of natural resources, the US is a wasteland. but they had SMART PEOPLE. People who outsmarted our ancestors who couldn't see beyond their Noses due to greed and they are still as greedy as ever.

they took our human and terrestrial resources, took them home and shaped it into the society they are today. they NEEDED resources, the same resources Nigeria had and still has in bountiful supplies. The difference was that they made sensible use of their limited resources they got before George Washington stopped that Labour siphon fiasco in the late 19th century. Slavery ended and neocolonialism began. A more insidious and effective state of black slavery. Don't believe Me? then ask yourself why our leaders are scared if they take away their precious US visas and passes. a big side effect of neocolonialism is inferiority complex on the psyche of this victims.

if you reply me with one vague and nonsensical answer without historical and factual backing, I will ignore you.

I pass the ball onto you

I don't have inferiority complex... just saying the truth....

Let talk about education .... Why did nobody protest ASUU strike?
i will tell you why because Nigerians don't like education do you know the U.S protested for all economics activities to reopen (even schools) despite the death of thousands of Americans ?

they love education they love progress.... we don't.

those people leading Nigeria were ones youths like you and me, they also hated education because their fathers did,
I guess you are also hating it because they are making you to.

lets make that correction first before we start comparing Nigeria to U.S....

I agree with a lot of you points there needs to be a reform of the whole government body... the leaders are bad ofc it was designed that way
The industrial sector is bad ofc it was designed that way.
The educational system is flawed ofc it was designed that way.
By who? Why? Answer those questions with critical thinking and the problem will reveal itself the “powers that be” won’t let Nigeria Africa stand if they Bleep up and allow that to happen they are finished
So they will distract us to attack incompetent leaders so we ignore them pillaging our resources in the billions then we go are cry that some governors have taken $500K.
Focus on the big picture so we can fight the big enemy.

@ 10minutes,ur points are salient

Look for example,Canda has an annual budget of 264 billion dollars with less than 40 million citizens
While Nigeria has an annual budget of 21 billion dollars with a population of more than 200 million persons

If you factor in the exponential growth of our population everyear and the unsteady rise and fall of our yearly GDP.....boooooy we are in big mess....We don't have money abeg

Wasteland? The Us has more oil than Nigeria, has more land for agriculture than Nigeria.
How much does Nigeria generate from petroleum annually?
How much does the US generate fron agriculture alone.

Sorry to say this .... but the average Nigerian is looking for quick money (I am a Nigerian)...

Even you, ones you get that position you Want to make sure you gain a lot from it.....

in advanced countries leaders are those who knows what it means to work hard....

I will give you an example Ben Carson..
can you pay him?? he can even reject his salary, Donald Trump gave out his salary to charity few years ago.

Though this might feel like a drop compared to the ocean of problems, one can't deny the potential this victory brings. Just like a boulder tipped down a slope, this victory might embolden nigerians to stand up against those problems you mentioned, and if timed and spaced right, subsequent protests can also bring victory.

Strong words... Please try and understand what that person is trying to say. Years back I had (still do but not as avid) a keen interest in military weaponry and followed up on the latest news on those weapons of mass destruction and one of the things that struck a great image was the sheer amount of money allocated per year with different companies bidding for the contracts, we are talking billions of dollars spent on those instruments of war, most were experimental and would never see the light of day. If such amount of money is spent on weaponry then definitely there has to be more for other infrastructures. So we as a country as of now and the near foreseeable future can't expect to be innovators and trailblazers in that aspect.
