Even if I know what they do I still think blocking the road for other commuters to go do their business is not the best alternative available.
Imagine somebody needs an emergency treatment or a living saving surgery and you think blocking the road is the best?

This copy and paste mentality is what is killing us.
Let's stop being too shirt sighted.
Quick fix won't solve our problems while avoiding the details.
I can pick many holes from these protest and why I see it as not the be all or end all of our problems.
look ehh, they should block the road if that will make those vipers in government get scared and listen so be it. Look if you know those wicked politicians and top civil servants nobody will tell you to carry placard. I am so happy with this protest because I have seen the nonsense that goes on. You people in Nigeria should be enjoying life....

I swear... Can u hear the excuse most of them are given... They are all satisfied with the status quo of the country...

Later they'll be condemning the Nigeria govt when one absurd News come out...

Since the protest began, most state govt began to sit up.. some police officers have been arrested and one is being prosecuted... Will that happen if Nigeria youths didn't speak up and protest on the streets...

Those guys need to shut the fvck up cos right now, their opinion is not needed
i hate to see stupid comments especially from those foolish sycophants and they have forgotten they are suffering in the country too.

How many of you will cone out to protest against yahoo yahoo? None!
I bet SARS is the only issue bedeviling our country.
With this kind oppressive mindset you lots have ,you are already SARS in a different "uniform."
You only need guns to oppress other people.

Oga,do you protest in peace make I mind my business in peace.
In a democracy you can't force me to adopt your cause even when I am clearly not interested.

They should be protesting in front of federal institutions and buildings not disrupting the activities of fellow commoners by blocking streets and major highways. Protests don’t have to be this disruptive to be effective. I’m still immensely impressed by the results achieved so far barring the casualties encountered.

Protests need to be disruptive especially if it's heading towards a revolution. Are you held up in traffic? grin. Wie geht es dir?

Stop raising cheap points.
If you have to protest don't block others who don't believe in your course or better still have pressing issues to attend to .
We are not the same.

Lol... Obviously u don't know the meaning/use of protest...

When ASUU goes on strike, is it all the lecturers in the organisation that want to go on strike?

Or when nlc declares nationwide strike, are all the workers in support of it?

Protest means an organized public demonstration expressing strong objection to an official policy or course of action....

Most likely.. we are holding the protest for a good course ... To demand accountability from our leaders... If u are satisfied with the way our country is battling insecurity. Unemployment, poverty, I am not and I'll continue to support the protest for a better Nigeria...

If after condemning this protest, u come out to say something bad abt Nigeria then u are a big HYPOCRITE

No. It is totally unacceptable and irresponsible.

Protest peacefully but do not block roads.

If I come along with my car and demand to pass, I should be allowed to do so. They have no right to stop me

Do you know if someone is about dying amongst those commuters?
Do you know if someone needs serious attention at the hospital?;.
Do you?!
You guys cursing and flaying SARS ,we can see you are not very different from them.
SARS is a cumulative product of who we are to ourselves.
Just imagine the lack of empathy simply because you are fighting a cause?

Some of you are just dumb pretenders ,fronting as fighting a cause which you also part of the problem.

Nobody is thinking about others lives, well I guess such is our selfish human nature.

What about the cars with sick people going to the hospital, those travelling abroad, and so so many more cares people might have to attend to.

When you block the road, just like SARS, you cause suffering to the masses.

are u saying ppl don't spend hours in traffic b4 this protest? How often did u come out and complain then? Na now road dey dey blocked? I don't get this argument. They say suffer alot small for a better country u say no u are fine with suffering small small with no hope of a better tomorrow. Na privileged ppl like u go run go Canada tomorrow. Leave us wey no get money for Canada to fight for a better nation for ourself and family

Keep shifting the post.
Its no longer about SARS, but about social amenities now, since the people you elected at the stata and local levels are lifeless dummies you can't talk to.

If you had protested against SARS brutality many years ago, those protesters wouldn't obstruct the roads. They are doing it so their children won't experience same brutality and obstruct them the way they are doing.

There are laws governing conduct and civilized beings adhere to such rules.....in seeking redress for violation of their rights, in protest, in business, in everything without infringing on the rights of others.

If we all take the laws into our hands then chaos and anarchy will result.

You have the right to protest, I have the right to go about my business.....

If you block the roads you are no better than SARS.

It's barbaric.

Courageous clown it's illegal to block the street there's no debating that fact. I dont have an issue with civil disobedience. If the cops arrest you take the charge like a man do it again. You clowns reason like mumus thinking there's no consequences to breaking the law. Even in America you will naturally be charged for obstructing the roads.
