SilverNorGold: Lol. Show me "Extreme" in the NBS report. I'm beginning to suspect you don't even know what NBS is self. Lol When has the economy ever been buoyant under Buhari? This dude needs a reality injection!! I've asked you a simple question but you keep jumping around like a grasshopper. IBB annulled an election. True. What's the difference between him and Buhari who toppled a validly elected government? Oya face the question and answer. |

Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, like I said, you are grasping at STRAWS, that's why you are throwing childish tantrums here and there.. Again, like I said, WHICHEVER WAY YOU FOLLOW, YOU'LL STILL END UP BEING WRONG.. By the way, ABSOLUTE POVERTY as used by NBS is synonymous with EXTREME POVERTY.. My brother, make I give you expo small.. "EXTREME POVERTY" is a term. I didn't invent it.. Other synonyms are: abject poverty, severe poverty, destitution, penury, etc.. Regarding your IBB, it's stale already.. I have provided sufficient answers to that.. As for the emboldened, another misquote. (SIDE NOTE: How you go see when you hate Buhari? The economy was when you compare it with the disaster the PDP created and still is . ) Anyway, I was referring to the economy during his first term campaign.. It's pretty obvious from my post.(before first term revenue buoyant, while 2019 was in anticipation as oil was expected to rise.) My brother, settle down read.. Anyway, see screenshots.. God bless us..

My brother, Agbegbaorogboye, I think you need to calm down and get your facts right, before you insult, attack or oppose someone. It's NOT A MUST YOU OPPOSE SOMEONE... WHICHEVER WAY YOU GO, YOU'LL END UP BEING WRONG. God bless you. |

Even with all these screenshots from several reputable sources, my brother, Agbegbaorogboye, is still arguing. Na by force to wail.. God come and help us o |

SilverNorGold:What sources can be more reputable than NBS which you've buried your head in the sand for? You're free to believe the sources that makes you sleep well. It works both ways for me. 112m poor under Buhari's watch proves he's a worse failure than the 82m shows. It still doesn't in any way show that the protesters are poor and motivated by hunger. Kapisch? Good you're now dropping your sanctimonious bullshit and now coming out as you're taught to do in your recruitments. You can start calling me wailer, ipob, PDP. It doesn't scratch me at all. I've waited patiently to smoke you out. Good it's working. |

SilverNorGold:It's not a must to oppose yet you open a thread to oppose and degrade protesters to scavengers who are seeking for food. You have no qualms opposing people who stand up for their rights and yet you expect your baseless assertions to be accepted as gospel. Where is your shame? |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 5:27am On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorGold:Check your screenshots again Mr circler and circle were NBS said absolute poverty is 40%. Just show that statement and I'll shut up. I've already explained to you that the 112m is from an NGO who used a different metric. The world poverty clock and NBS both identified number of poor as 89m. I challenge you again. Make a screenshot showing NBS giving 89m as absolute poverty and not just poverty and the conversation is done. At least you've stopped attacking nairametrics for not having English as his mother tongue. White man worshipper. As for the economy, it is common incontrovertible knowledge that Buhari took our economy to recession during his first term, the first since our return to democracy. The highest we've ever had in economic growth was about 3% under his watch compared to PDP's lowest of 5%. This shows his best is still worse than PDP's worst!! I don't know how all this translates to a buoyant economy. Only you can tell us. 1 Like |

Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, like I said, no way out.. You are the ONLY ONE arguing this, as all sources, both national and international, support my claim.. The NBS poverty and inequality stats, is on POVERTY, strictly.. There are upper and lower level poverty lines.. Annual lower line is 124,948.. Annual upper line is 137,430.. Now, 137,430 is the national standard line for poverty.. In other words, if you earn 137, 430 a year, you are poor, by national standards.. However, according to the stats, 40.1% of the population live BELOW the UPPER POVERTY LINE of 137,430 naira/year.. Which means, these people are poorer than the average poor, who are within the ANNUAL UPPER POVERTY LINE.. Unless you want to tell me that those living within 137430 naira PER YEAR, are averagely wealthy, LMAO.. My brother, this is simple logic. And by the way, I am not the only one on this.. If you still insist I am wrong, that means all major Nigerian newspapers, World Bank, etc are ALL WRONG, and you ALONE is right, which I won't mind.. See screenshots below... And regarding the economy, I have already told you the crash of our main source of revenue is the cause. Not Buhari, who has performed excellently well, despite the economic crisis. PDP failing to save for the rainy days, as even testified by Okonjo Iweala, Peter Obi, and others is the primary reason.

Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, check the stats.. I have replied to your other post.. As for "wailer", I have been using it to describe those who hate President Mohammadu Buhari for NO JUST reason. I have been using from day one, check my previous posts... Trying to DRAG me into that mud of bigotry, etc, just failed.. Check all my posts.. The word "wailer" is VERY common. I didn't just start using it.. So, my brother, save the blackmail for someone else. God bless you. |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Nobody: 10:27am On Oct 17, 2020 |
Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, the screenshot is to show you the ADJECTIVE, not necessarily the stat.. Other screenshots, recent ones, regarding the stats, are also there. But you ignored them, lol. Be calming down.. I merely uploaded screenshots to show instances where those adjectives were used. Check the marker, you'll see where the emphasis is.. Stay blessed. |

SilverNorGold:You need to go back to school. You claim you criticize and also call them opportunist yet still say you're not opposed to that. What manner of tomfoolery is this? Ok. Why don't you criticize Buhari the opportunist for removing the subsidy he previously claimed does not exist? At least you're not opposed to him |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 10:35am On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorGold: You are suffering from English deficiency this man. I suggest you take remedial classes in English. So if one lives above the poverty line he is still poor. It's just like saying if JAMB cut-off is 200 and someone scored 201 he got above the cut-off but still failed. Your problem is English. I don't blame you. I blame your school. PDP failed to save for the rainy days. Yet Buhari met $2.1bn in the ECA account which he has now depleted to $70m. He met over $1bn in the NLNG account which has been blown already. He met another $1bn in the SWF which he was getting ready to pilfer away as usual. Since you claimed PDP failed to save for the rainy day. And you also say Buhari's economy was buoyant in 2018. May I ask where is Buhari's savings from 2018? This question still leads us to the same basic question just like the IBB scenario which you failed bombastically. Where is the difference? |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 10:42am On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorGold: Oh so I hate president Buhari now. And for no just reason? I'm sure you love the protesters. That's why you called them opportunists. You didn't start the word wailer. It was started by the multiple cursed soul called Femi Adesina. You Buhari's supporters simply welcomed it and used it against anyone you think hates the president. Like I said, I already dragged you out to show where you truly belong and to prove to you that you're no patriot. Just another random government bootlicker whose mouth is filled with crumbs. |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 10:47am On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorGold:From your screenshots In 2010, the phrase "absolute poverty" was used to describe 57% of the populace. In 2019 the word "poverty" was used to describe 40.1% of the populace. The question to you now is based on your own previous exposition of types of poverty, is "absolute poverty" same as "poverty" |

Agbegbaorogboye: My other account was hit by spambot. My brother, you are clearly confusing yourself here, LOL.. That is BBC screenshot, and it used "absolute" to refer to poverty below the upper line.. You google it.. Look well before you reply.. NBS said "The absolute poverty line for Nigeria was previously calculated in 2004 but has now become outdated" Stat blessed |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by SilverNorrGold: 11:36am On Oct 17, 2020 |

Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by SilverNorrGold: 11:36am On Oct 17, 2020 |
Agbegbaorogboye:
My brother, in other words, all major Nigerian newspapers, international newspapers, including CNN, and the world bank website and I are all suffering from English deficiency, and you are the ONLY ONE VAST IN IT.. Jamb approved 160 as cutoff mark. Now the total score is 400.. If you score below 160, you have failed completely, extremely poor.. If you score 160, you still failed, however, you are within the cutoff range.. But most universities will reject you. Even if you score 180, previous cutoff, you are still below average, even though you are above the cutoff mark. Average is 200 mark.. Similarly, the NBS poverty and inequality stats, is on POVERTY, strictly.. There are upper and lower level poverty lines.. Annual lower line is 124,948.. Annual upper line is 137,430.. The CUTOFF MARK is 137,430 in the POVERTY scale.. According to NBS, the National Poverty Line is N137,430 or $361 per person, per annum, which translates to $ 0.98 or around 373 naira per day.. My friend, tell us something.. People on 380 naira per day are averagely rich to you? Note that this is the POVERTY LINE.. The 40.1% are BELOW THIS LINE.. Meaning, they live on less than 380 naira per day, which is absolutely poor.. It doesn't mean people living on 380, 390, 400, 450, 500, etc are averagely rich. They are still poor. Just that they are on the upper poverty line.. |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by SilverNorrGold: 12:00pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, due to the biting economy, President Mohammadu Buhari had to bailout states governors, due to their inability to pay salaries. President Mohammadu Buhari, being the masses president, will never sit and watch people go hungry due to their governors inability to pay salaries. So, he had to. The bailout was necessary. Note that this happened in the time of scarcity. Meanwhile, Goodluck Jonathan met $20 billion+, and in a period the country witnessed her most prosperous seasons.. Yet, they squandered $18bn+, depleted the treasury pulse and left a meager $2bn+ for President Mohammadu Buhari. And now, you guys want President Buhari to turn Nigeria to Dubai overnight? My brother, make we fear God.. President Mohammadu Buhari has done a lot in agriculture, infrastructure, see the quality work going on across the federation, support of micro, small and medium enterprises, and others.. It shows he's there to work. It shows he's committed. How I wish President Buhari was the president when oil was trading around 90 to 100 USD. But Nigeria will be great. |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by SilverNorrGold: 12:16pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
Agbegbaorogboye: My brother, you go attack tire, lol.. I consider those ones calling for revolution, secession, and those calling for Buhari's resignation, as opportunists. They have hijacked the protest to further their own selfish and anti-national interests. These elements are big opportunists, my brother. I will never support anyone whose purpose is to cause chaos for Nigeria. Also, my brother, please stop misquoting President Buhari. What President Buhari was against, if you follow his talks, is the extreme corruption going on through the subsidy. Right from 2012, President Mohammadu Buhari has been calling out the PDP for the fraud. And he was subsequently proven right, after the "endemic corruption" was exposed.. But too bad, some people decided to spin it.. Nigeria must better |

SilverNorrGold:Sorry for your spambot experience. I guess the spambot is also averse to your lies. Even a robot is more rational than you are. Stop confusing yourself. Absolute poverty is now outdated. BBC used it not NBS. Bla bla bla At least you have rested from the oxfam data. Now you're struggling with NBS data and English. It's ok. You're making improvement albeit slow-wittedly. Na small small dem dey cure madness. Las las you go get where I need you to be. |

Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 3:00pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorrGold:Don't be confused o. CNN, world Bank and co used the data supplied by Oxfam whose report on poverty came out around 2017-18. NBS data was released 2019-20. You're the one who in your self-delusion mumbled both together and is using one to validate the other which has led to your pitiful and disgraceful struggle with English. Both NBS and Oxfam have never claimed to carry out same research or within same period. God really needs to bless you with a functioning brain. See how you're disgracing yourself with common jamb cut-off. Oya apply your ridiculous analysis to waec standard of 5credits too. Anyone reading this should really be having a good laugh. I'm enjoying it tbh. FYI the poverty index is to measure poverty not to stratify it. Stratification is found in inequality and sociology. For measuring poverty, you're either poor or you're not. All this your nonsense of your averagely rich is your own delusions. Get off that pipe!! Once you live below $1 a day, you're regarded as poor. Once you live above it. You're not poor. It's very simple but I understand how hard it can be for simpletons |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 3:12pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorrGold:You mean Buhari spent $2.5bn to pay salaries and bail out states? Wonderful man!! I agree Jonathan was profligate. But you have still not shown us Buhari's savings from 2018. Instead of crying about the bread Jonathan stole from Buhari, why don't you tell Buhari to take a cue from Obasanjo who met less than 20bn foreign reserves and zero ECA yet left a foreign reserve of over $45bn and an ECA of more than $8bn. Why must he complain about the circumstances of his birth instead of writing his own story. There's always an excuse for failure. A million excuses rather. He has done marvellous work in agriculture such that a bag of rice is now 30k among other farm produce prices skyrocketing. FYI, he met CPI at 9% and it's now 14% He did marvelously well in infrastructure the Niger state gov had to close a state road due to the dilapidated state of federal roads. SMEs are bubbling so much that private school teachers have not been paid for almost ten months. Sai Baba |
Re: Why Endsars Protest Is Not Ending Anytime Soon.. by Agbegbaorogboye: 3:17pm On Oct 17, 2020 |
SilverNorrGold:You mean if your employer asks for your resignation he's an opportunist? This dude self. Do you know Buhari paid some outstanding subsidies from the Jonathan administration? Now why would he pay a fraud he's been exposing since 2012. Since subsidy is corruption, what is the efcc and icpc waiting for to clamp down on the perpetrators. Buhari just removed the same endemic corruption five years after practising it. Is it safe to say him don chop belleful wan com throwaway the rest? If that's the case, I think he should be impeached not asked to resign self |
