JMAN05: Going to a particular church doesn’t grant heaven, what guarantees heaven is you and the grace of God, that being said, if you’re a church that doesn’t follow bible teaching and principles, you need to distance yourself cos they would influence you no matter how rooted you think you are in your spiritual life, go somewhere that upholds Christian values because they say iron sharpeneth iron meaning a good church would keep your fire burning and make you even better but a bad one would break you Btw, me I be sinner man ohh and I know, but please don’t quiz me on that cos I won’t reply you, we’ll keep the topic on churching like you started |

LadyExcellency: True but what is the basis of the believers holiness? If a person who has not pledged allegiance to the Lordship of Christ lives peacefully with all men and avoids all known sin is he saved? Surely not. The letter to the Hebrews that you quote at chapter 12 already lists the preminence of Jesus and the need to surrender to his claims well before you get to the chapter 12 you quote from. Your quote is not a basis for heaven but the continuance of faith that has already commenced. And by the way if you are a believer, you do not throw things like "carnal" mind at other believers simply because I queried your point. |

BreconHills: First, I apologise for the tag. Accept my regrets. We were talking about the Church (the Assembly of the redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ) as the topic enlisted. Not the world. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Igbochief001: No sir! I have ZERO interest in going there, and that's why I try to keep a clear conscience. It's a matter of choice you know. Do you know how many as gone down into hell today alone. God doesn't stop anyone if they want to. Friend, you don't believe in Jesus, and you don't fear God either. You wouldn't wish your worse enemies hell if you knew God. Hebrews 10:31 KJV It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Anyway, I'm done. You don't need to quote me anymore. Thanks. |

psucc: You are suffering from spiritual arrogance. Your dumb comment about C&S indicates that you are as dirty and empty as the worst sinners on earth. Dumb idiot hide in their Pentecostal churches thinking that any other church is ungodly. Dumb fools call themselves Christians and they will be condemning others. Who even told you that you will make heaven? Idiot |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by freeborn02: 11:13pm On Oct 18, 2020 |
itzmarvyx: Not so bro. The power of faith can transcend space and make you a partaker of the grace and anointing that abound in the Christian gathering even if you are not there physically. All you need to do is place your hands on your TV and connect in the Spirit. Don't forget that worshipping God in the Spirit and truth is all that matters. |

Jeezuzpick: Does indabosky confess and preach Jesus Christ as Lord and savior? If he doesn't, I've got no business in his church |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by nairanaira12: 9:15am On Oct 19, 2020 |
Akolawole: Lolz. 1. Either one-off or several, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that it happened. And the one I narrated above is the only one me I heard. Only God knows how many times such would have happened. 2. Bear in mind that Jesus said "...... greater things shall they do." So, it is not out of place for Christians to perform miracles that Jesus and the Apostles did not perform. |

freeborn02:Are you sure you are responding to the right post? In all my comments, I have not made mention of any church, sir. Aside what we profess to be, insulting others is a clear sign of immaturity and ill- upbringing. |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by freeborn02: 10:04am On Oct 19, 2020 |
psucc: You should be happy that all you got for your hypocrisy and rubbish is just an insult. Yeah boy, you got a light sentence for your hypocrisy and blindness |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by psucc(m): 3:43pm On Oct 19, 2020 |
freeborn02:Sadly enough, you may not even be able to speak where I am. It is freedom that you are enjoying. Text, type and comment. I may be a hypocrite before you but telling the truth has never been synonymous with hypocrisy. |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by freeborn02: 5:44pm On Oct 19, 2020 |
psucc: You just proved me right. There is arrogance in your life. It showed in the way you condemned other churches and it just showed in the way you assume yourself to be better than others. I wonder who is deceiving you that you are better than anybody. Your life is empty and hollow. You are not better than the worst sinners on earth. |

freeborn02:I don't think you even read through my posts before coming forth to attack. Please kindly go through them again, you will be glad to know that you are actually misfiring. It doesn't take much to read. Please read between lines. Maranatha! |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by freeborn02: 10:32pm On Oct 19, 2020 |
psucc: Your hypocrisy and spiritual arrogance are obvious enough. It's strange you can't even see them. If your are too blind to see through yourself, do you think you qualify to judge the acceptability of other people's churches to God? |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by psucc(m): 6:21am On Oct 20, 2020 |
freeborn02:Ok. Done. Please can you quote the post(s) that pissed you off? But I still maintain my stand that "some Churches are reservoirs for Hell ". This is not disputable! It is factual. For example, just a couple of weeks ago, a court in Ondo State sentenced a Prophet over a missing child in his church. And you tell me that such a person is preparing you for heaven? Don't be so bitter, Old Prophet. |
Re: Does The Church I Attend Matter? by freeborn02: 6:25am On Oct 20, 2020 |
psucc: And I hope you have evidence that the prophet killed or kidnapped the child? How many churches have you personally visited and worshipped in? How many of them do you know personally? Are your assumptions based on personal experiences or you are just judging them by what others tell you? Only a dumb man will condemn others when he doesn't personally experience them. |
