Good afternoon y'all, initially I filled DS 160 and I put Lagos as my interview venue, but when I didnt see date in Lagos, i chose Abuja, now can i fill another DS 160? If I do, how will I be able to change my application number on my visa confirmation page?

I had the interview on the 16th October, 2020.

I booked a room at a hotel about 2.7km from the consulate. I also was fortunate to meet a driver who agreed to drive me to the consulate at 5am sharp...amd he kept his word... I almost felt goosebumps when he called me 4:59am.
Anyways, I arrived few minutes afterwards with some 5 interviewees waiting. We weren't attended to until few minutes past 6am.

Heads-up... please get all your documents and reciprocity fee ready. Some who came quite early had to fall out of the line to get their stuffs set... And trust the "boys" waiting to overbill you for your unpreparedness.
Shortly, we were ushered in and checked thoroughly and I began to fall back from my 2nd position in line to abt 5th (apparently, a razor was detected in my wallet which I had no premonition about)
Well, I entered sha...verifications and all. My ds160 was for Abuja and upon knowing, I was asked to wait so it can be retrieved to lagos' database. At this time, I was no 17th.
Gladly the consular official (I think he's the infamous Chinese) was just issuing visa o... Abt 14 plus... Only 1 got a yellow slip. I guess he took a break and another dude took over. And fast forward to me... Here it went thus..

Me: good morning
VO: yea, morning, your documents please
Me: hands over

VO: why are you going to US?
Me: I'm going to pursue a Masters degree in Engineering with concentration in petr....

VO: Why this school?
Me: well, besides the fact that it's among the top 10, the....

VO: I know, but why this particular one and not the other 9?
Me: OK, the works of prof... Quite aligns with mine interest and...

VO: so, who's sponsoring you?
Me: I was offered a research assistantship position which caters for the tuition and comes with stipends for my living expenses..

VO: are you married
Me: no

VO: do you have children
Me: no

... VO muted the microphone and started speaking with his colleague saying somethings like.. Yeah he's genuine and all and he's into a research program blah blah... Las Las...
VO : I intend to issue you a visa, go pay at counter 22 ensure your i-20 is with you blah blah...

Me: thank you.. God bless.

I'm profoundly grateful to my friend Prosper for the mockup interviews.. I don't know how to thank my God enough really.

Please I need help urgently. I have an interview this week, but I couldn't pay Sevis fee up till now. A friend in USA could not pay with cards.
I will appreciate any assistance to get it paid.
Kindly provide information about how you paid yours or anybody's contact that can help out. Thanks

Hello House,
I need help about the DS-160 form.
I'll be using a sponsor statement as proof of funds but I chose "SELF" from the options in this screenshot.
Do I need to refill my DS-160 form or the field means who's paying for my flight as against for the program.

Hello awesome people, help a brother in dilemma.

So, I have an admission in Agricultural Technology from Brigham Young University for an undergraduate program. I intend to use a statement from my Italian in-law who is willing to sponsor me. I'm 24. What are my chances of getting a visa? Or would I be on a wild goose chase?

Hey guys a few questions,
The statement of the account I want to use despite having the required amount has very few transactions over the past year due to the fact that it was to be used for the sole purpose of studies and I should have left since August. So I just have a page and a half for a 7 month statement.
Is it good or do I go ahead to print statement for 2 years to increase the volume?

Mine was one page and no withdrawal had been made in over a year.
You should be fine with a 6 month statement

The SEVIS fee amount ($350 for F1) can be found here --> https://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901/faq

Naira conversion depends on rate.

Here's the link for your I-20 validation and status check --> https://www.fmjfee.com/i901fee/index.html

Hi, this SOA you talked about, is it your personal SOA (self funding) or that of your sponsor?

Also, was your deficit below 6k or above? Did the vo asked to check your SOA? Lastly, is your interview recent?

I'm having similar situation with my SOA. Just three pages and no withdrawal.

Truth is that if you have no funding at all, and you are funding yourself, and then with the nature of your account, you have to be able to explain how you got the money and how you plan to fund your second year
