FLASH: The Lagos State Government has directed all pupils/students in public and private schools to stay at home following the tension generated by the anti- SARS protests.

Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, who issued the directive today, said the safety of the pupils/students, parents and all staff working in schools is paramount at this critical period. She however advised parents to keep an eye on their wards and not allow them to be used as willing tools in the hands of those who might want to hijack the protests to unleash mayhem on the society.

The Commissioner also encouraged schools to utilize other means of distance teaching and learning i.e radio, television and online media as they have been doing during and post the recent COVID-19 lockdown.According to Adefisayo, a new date of resumption for all classes will be announced as soon as possible.

It's time to reflect on the gains of the peaceful protests.... it's time to retreat and give the Government some time to implement the demands fully.

Let's shift to online protests and do so aggressively till all demand are fully met, just to keep the Government on their toes. Let's put an end to physical gathering of #EndSars protests.

We should stop fooling ourselves..the physical protests have been hijacked by hoodlums....and out of control.

Modified: I support the protests...but it is time to atleast centralise the protest ground, if at all we need physical protests. 1 gathering point per state and 2 points for Lagos State..with this, there will be strength in numbers and will be effectively coordinated, even to resist infiltrators and hoodlums.
It is sad that many acclaimed protesters at multiple protests points across the country yesterday don't even know why they were protesting. Thugs with road blocks extorting motorists. Is that why we are protesting huh

The Senators gets close to N29m naira per month each and this thieves find it hard to sign a minimum wage of N30k naira.

Miyetti Allah's submission may be true since the protest was engineered in Lagos State so they can say it's made in Lagos or Tinubu sponsored.

But I want to put it to Miyetti Allah and the North that Nigerians are tired of mediocrity and the North pride in PMB is the highest form of mediocrity in the history of Nigeria. The North has never produce such a mediocre president his first coming was better. If every second coming should be like this christians will never pray for Jesus to come again that's how bad it is.

The impunity, corruption and incompetency of this government is the worse in recent times and when you engage top leaders from the North they don't hide their pain about the hardship this government has brought.

Miyetti Allah is scared because they see a revolution in the making and when it peak the only reasonable thing for any government to do is to resign.

Protect need to be out of control cos our leaders are animals and they only will hear if the source of their income slow down or stop
