Acidosis:
Buhari had a lot of time to bring in personnel from the Nigerian Civil Defence Corp to protect harmless and peaceful protestors but nothing was done. These guys are to some extent civil and coordinated.

The people were protesting against the police yet you made them a target to miscreants and thugs. The civil defence guys would have done a better job protecting peaceful protestors and harmless civilians while the police defend themselves and go after the miscreants.

That being said, making a police station a target is totally cr.azy and out of place. We would blame no one but the same government and its policing structure for the extent of thuggery in Lagos state. Come 2023, some of these people would be hired to snatch ballot boxers. This is why they hardly repent.

These thugs are on the payroll of the government. They work for the government under the guise of NURTW.

They will resurface next election when the politicians want to rig themselves in.

I think the next point of call is to start recalling lawmakers for failing to represent us.

good,
The sweet protest dat started last week has turned into something it was not initially meant for. We should have all sticked to the Endsars campaign without any deviation. Sars has been disbanded, we should have sticked for prosecution of killer sars personnel and freeing innocent victims of police brutality. Proper justice for victims of police brutality and an end to police brutality. So much progress has been made in these areas

Until some stuppid ignorant individuals decided to turn into a call for good governance, buhari must go and other political gibberish all in the name of revolution. Leading to the widespread violence we are experiencing today.

And am asking, presidential election was just last year, where did the youths stand - Behind Buhari and Atiku
Edo election was few weeks ago, where did the youths stand - Behind eze iyamu and Obaseki
Ondo election just passed, where did the youths stand - Behind Akeredeolu and jegede

Ask the youths if they knew about the young politicians that contested those elections they will tell u no.
When it was time to speak, they stood behind the same old leaders

Revolution kee all of them there
I wish any miscreant caught should replace the freed prisoners immediately

2023 will soon be here, u will soon start hearing we Igbos are behind Atiku, we yorubas are behind Tinubu bla bla bla

That has been their target.

We can never be distracted.

The tempo must be sustained across board at all cost.

The unleashed thugs on the peaceful protesters in the guise to ban protests.

It can never work.

Shit happens, even though i haven't seen a verified source that stated policemen were killed. Aren't you even ashamed to say thugs killed armed policemen.

We said it that it that the protest will be hijacked by hoodlums.
We said it that it shall get violent.
We said it that Army and police will be deployed.
We said it that curfew may be imposed.
What we did not say was if the Nigerian youths will defy the curfew and face the security personnel.

you're minding those imbeciles, henceforth the securities agencies should shoot anyone blocking roads

the state Governor left Lagos immediately to submit your grievances to the president, the president accepted all your five demands and promise to implement it with the inclusion of youths in the implementation, what else did you want the man to do? cut his head and give it to you?

these imbeciles forget North don't joke with power, even if Nigeria is boiling no Hausa man will resign power. I expect dialogue with the government then give him ultimatum to implement all these demands

blocking roads is passing of boundaries and I reiterate myself, shoot any idiot blocking Lagos roads henceforth

The Police is far from serious... This is unusual incompetence and ineptitude!!!

Even a fool knows the clear difference between peaceful protesters and hoodlums! How could the police not have adequately prepared themselves to battle hoodlums hiding under the cover of protesters??! This shows the pathetic and shocking level of insecurity across the nation, and why the entire security apparatus of the nation must be indicted and questioned.

If you can't safeguard your stations, how then can you safeguard lives and properties??! This means we are all on our own in this nation!

Protesters didn't touch your offices, no peaceful protester went near or would ever go near security offices to harm or disturb them... This was done by criminals you ought to have dispatched if you knew what you were doing...

This is a failed state!!! I'm deeply ashamed!

PRESS STATEMENT, LAGOS STATE COMMAND.
DATED 20TH OCTOBER, 2020.

Due to the new development of violent attacks on police officers and men and formations including innocent Nigerians in Lagos State, and the 24 hour curfew imposed by the Lagos State Government with effect from 4pm of today 20th October, 2020, the Lagos State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that henceforth no protest or gathering or procession, under whatever guise, is permitted within Lagos State.

In the light of the above, all security agencies have deployed adequate personnel to take charge and enforce the curfew across the state.

In the same vein, the command regrets to confirm the setting ablaze of Orile Police State today at about 10am, where some of our policemen were critically injured and unconfirmed reports state that one of them is dead.

It's crystal clear that the Endsars protest has been hijacked by hoodlums who want to run down the state and the police command will resist such state of anarchy, unrest and brouhaha with all powers within the ambit of the law.

While the command is resolute in sustenance of human rights and democratic tenets, the general public is hereby warned to comply with the curfew and desist from any act of violence in the state as the command will resist such in totality.

Thanks you.
