Sorry for this, the past few days has been really rough and hectic, I've not gotten a chance to sit, gather my thoughts and turn them into words. I promise to drop an update soon (possibly Friday) and keep the consistency from then till we are done with the book.

The story will also be completed soon(between 14-19 more chapters to go) and I really hope you all stick around till then

Sorry again for the silence. I hope you will all understand. Thanks

Trying to see through Rachels eyes to feel how betrayed she felt. Zion wants to use Nikitas father against her, and whatever he is in possession of must be really damning. Thanks Frankline for the updates.

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Dan grunted as he walked towards the table at the centre of his living room table, he placed the bag he had been carrying on the floor as the guardians, Justin and the girl in black walked into the cabin, looking around at the weapons he had neatly arranged on its wall.

“This is one hell of a collection.” The lady pointed out.

Dan turned to look at her, and then at the collections she had been referring to. “I see you know a good thing when you see one.” He commended, clearing the table.

He lifted the bag on it and started unzipping it. “I never really got your names.” He continued as he brought out some mini bags from the bag and started unzipping one of them. “We never really had much time to chat last night to discuss such little formalities.”

“I see you’ve been brought up to speed on what we know.” The lady spoke ignoring his earlier statement. She walked towards one of the weapons and ran her hand on its tip. “This looks exactly like a Raclatum.” She said, amused. She picked it and took a closer look at it.

It was shaped like a sickle, but had another curved extension that made it possible to impact two obstacles on opposite directions and in close proximity, but its edges were so blunt like it hadn’t been used in ages.

“The weapon had always been a myth.” She spoke again, gripping its head and taking a fighting stance with it. “It is said to be responsible for thousands of killings during the war of the four horizons and was only wielded by the dreaded Ghazou general, up until he stopped serving.” She spoke almost in one breath.

Justin stared at the lady perplexed, they had always said he was the geek of the operation, but here was the annoying lady, about to give him a run for his money. He rolled his eyes and walked towards one of chairs, pulled it out and cleaned off the dusts on its surface. He placed his PC on it and turned it on as he returned his gaze to Dan.

Dan dragged out the content of one of the bottles he had picked out from the bag. “When you say it like that..” He turned to the lady “...it gives even me chills.”

He turned to the rest of the guardians who seemed lost and then to the girl in black that was standing and watching him closely.

“Have a sit now, will you.” He placed the syringe on the desk and walked towards a bag at the corner of the cabin.

The guardians all dragged out chairs for themselves and sat on it, all gazes went to the lady who seemed lost in her own world and was not even paying the slightest attention to what they were discussing. She raised her head to look at them when she found out that the room had suddenly gone quiet.

“Oh.” She muttered replacing the weapon back on its stand; she walked towards the last empty seat and sat, sighing.

Dan sighed and was about to begin when his son ran into the cabin and towards the guardians, smiling. Alicia soon followed in hurriedly, panting.

“I’m sorry, he slipped from my hands.” She apologized catching him by his arm.

All the guardians except the lady and Justin smiled as a show of goodwill and Dan gave his son a pat on his back smiling too as Alicia dragged him out of the cabin.

The lady returned her gaze to Dan as soon as Alicia was out of sight, a questioning look lingering on her face. “How does it work?” She asked referring to his family. “I mean, it’s a timed bomb waiting to explode.” She inputted.

The girl in black slowly became irritated, ever since she had known her, she had always spoken without considering the weight of her words.

“I don’t think that should be your concern right now.” She scorned waiting to get a response that would justify her potential outburst.

Dan cleared his throat getting her attention; he waved her down with a smile on his face, as he placed a board right in front of where they were seated. He made for the bag on the desk and also grabbed a maker from it. He walked in front of the desk and leaned on it, turning to face the lady.

“What’s your name?” He asked, still smiling.

“Hermione, Hermione Kynthia.” She responded.

Dan squeezed his face when he heard her name; it had been ages since he had met a Kynthia. Like the Ahenobarbus, the Kynthias had always been known for their plane and blunt approach. It was one he appreciated when he was still active in the force, but since he had his senses dulled, he seemed to have taken a tiny weeny bit of offense from it. He moved away from the desk towards the weapon that she had been checking out and pulled it out.

“You look like a very smart lady, Hermione.”

Justin hissed louder than he had intended and got some attention to himself. He lowered his head and buried himself in his PC. Dan held the weapon and walked towards them.

“Like you have rightly pointed out, only one man was able to wield the Raclatum.” He continued, doing his own bit of reminiscing. “I’m sure you’ve all heard myth of the great Ghazou general, how he controlled life during the day and death at night. About his strength and how no one dared look at him in his eyes, not even the head of the first world.” His voice faded off and he shook himself back to consciousness.

He raised his head and found that everyone was now staring at him attentively. He sighed and replaced the weapon. “Well.” He spoke as he walked back to the board. “That is what makes a myth thrilling, isn’t it? There are many more myths about the great Ghazou general and why his identity was kept a secret from everyone, not even his family knew who he was.” He walked on the board and started writing on it.

“Let’s get down to business now. From what I gathered, there seem to be two main people at the head of this operation; Zion and the lady, Nikita.”

“I don’t think she deserves to be called a lady.” Justin spoke. “She is more like a witch.”

Dan chuckled and returned to the board. “From what I’ve been told, these two are not alone, and apart from the thousands of other fallen they have in their command, Zion also has some hunters that have sworn allegiance to him, this is the tricky part. The problem with allegiance is that they can only be broken either by death of the one they swore allegiance to, or if they are released by him. There is also a third way, this is an ancient way that only a few know about....” He picked up the mini bag on the desk and pulled a different bottle from it, it contained a clear liquid. “...the water from the lake of Bhoine.”

“Impossible.” Hermione muttered. There was also some murmuring from the other guardians. Justin turned to look at them, wondering what all the fuss was about.

“How did you get your hand on it, ever since the general had travelled to the four worlds to get some during the plague, no one has been able to get their hands on it anymore.” The girl in black spoke, also stunned.

“Well, it’s a long story that i can’t really dive into now. Let’s just assume that I’m a great collector.” He spoke. “Now, the day of alignment is in ten days, and we have just ten days to come up with something to disrupt their plans or everything we ever love will go up in a puff. I got all the information i could on the lady, Nikita and i think if there is any chance that we can end it, it would come from her.”

Justin scoffed. “I don’t think she is one that would hand over information that easily, trust me, we have had our share of her.”

Dan sighed. “Zion is not one that takes in an ally without making sure that there is some kind of collateral between them.” The cabin became silent as everyone withdrew into their heads. “And in this case, I think the collateral would be a very useful in ending all these. We just have to get our hands on it.”

He turned to Justin. “I heard you are the technical brains behind this mission. I need you to track down her cell phone and monitor everything she does. Report it all to me, a little detail means a lot in figuring out where she is keeping the collateral.” He turned back to the rest. “While he does that, I want you all to get prepared; we have to go say hello to some people.”

The girl in black stared at Dan curiously. “Who are we going to meet?” She asked.

“Well, let’s just say I have not been on this planet for thousands of years just to become a family man. I have also made a few friends while at it.”

*

Rachel poured down the remaining content of the liquor down her throat, sighing in frustration as it burnt through her throat. The bartender walked to her and cleared his throat.

“I take it that things are not going the way you guys had planned.” He said, wiping the table.

Rachel raised her head and gave him a cold stare, hoping that she didn’t have to resort to other methods to make him go away. She was fed up of his continuous poking and wasn’t in the right frame to concentrate and manipulate him to leaving her. She placed a note on the stand and walked away from the bar, towards the staircase that led to the room she had booked. She felt choked and really needed to do something to relieve herself. She walked into the corridor and walked down to the room. She pushed the door opened and was shocked to find Zeke sitting on the bed, his mouth full with something he was chewing. She turned to look at the table she had placed the hamburgers on and found that it was gone. Instead of becoming alarmed, she slowly walked into the room and fell on the bed beside him, sighing as she shut her eyes.

*

Nikita stepped out of the building hurried, she grabbed her phone from her pocket and quickly placed a phone as she walked towards the chopper. The line rang on the other side and she grew frustrated at the time it took for him to pick it up.

“Hello.” A voice finally came from the other side.

“Listen to me carefully.” She started. “In the bunker, behind the shelves, there is a secret room there. Walk to the desk in the room and grab the documents there. I want you to upload a copy of the document to the cloud and get rid of the hard copies there. Do it now.” She spoke hurriedly as she got on the chopper.

“I am out now to restock.” Her father spoke into the receiver.

The chopper began to take off and it became harder for Nikita to make out the words he spoke.

“Out where?” She asked alarmed. “I thought I told you to remain in the bunker until everything settled” She said angrily.

“I ran out of some things and needed to restock before the city ran out of them too. Don’t worry, I am a trained military man and can watch my own back here. I will do what you said when I get back.”

The receiver went dead.

Nikita placed her phone on her lap and stared out of the chopper. Her heart was uneasy and she felt suspicious at that moment. Something bad was about to happen but she didn’t know what it was.

*

I stared at Rachel on the bed as I took another bite of the sandwich she had bought, she had her eyes shut and looked to be reminiscing. I took a little pity on her, but I wasn’t one left with so much emotions left, they only made me weak and I was done being weak. My eyes unconsciously went through her body, her shape was very prominent even in the large linen she was wearing, she was one that would make every man look twice, but it was a shame that she was ‘men-inclined’. I reached for the bag again and pulled out the bottled water in it and took a large gulp to quench my dying thirst. I felt revitalized again and my wounds were all but healed at that point.

“You know I can hear everything you are thinking.” She spoke, her eyes still closed.

I sighed and turned to her. “You would have to stay out of my head then.” I replied, taking another sip from the bottle.

She opened her eyes and rolled over on the bed, turning over to look at me. She left her gaze on me for a while and it felt awkward as tension built in the air.

“Thinking of ways to kill me?” I asked sarcastically to ease the tension, but she still said nothing and kept her gaze on me.

I tried to stop it, but I couldn’t, my gaze went from her face to her lips and the fullness of it. It was an unusual feeling, I had been one that knew how to control myself in situations like this, but I felt powerless at that point. Rachel pushed herself up slowly from the bed and moved towards me, her lips teasing mine without locking, allowing me to take in her almond-like scent in as I tasted the after taste of the liquor she had been consuming. The fire in between my chest rose and overwhelmed me immediately our mouths locked, she was a very good kisser and I was tempted to ask how many others there were. She adjusted further on the bed and pushed towards me, I could feel the bulge of her breast on my chest as it slowly became filled, her turgid nipple tickling me. I didn’t know what we were doing, but I didn’t care. A while ago, she wanted to kill me and I hated her for that, but here we were a few moments later, trying to rip each other’s clothes apart.

She slowly directed her hands to my back and dragged my shirt up, I quickly obliged and partly raised it up for her to take it off. Our mouths shortly parted as the shirt went over my head and that little moment felt like eternity. I slowly reached for her cloth and wanted to pull it up, but she gripped my hands, holding me to a stop. I stared at her, wondering what was wrong or if I had done anything wrong, she slowly stood up and took a little step backwards, her gaze fixed tightly on mine as her eyes teased me. She touched the edges of her clothes and played around it for a while before pulling it up, revealing her breast. She placed the shirt on the floor and walked back to me, locking her mouth on mine aggressively and sitting with her legs spread on my laps. She unlocked the kiss and directed my head to her breast, prompting me to bury one of the nipples in my mouth as I teased it with my tongue, she gave a soft mourn and pushed it further into my mouth. I fondled the other breast while I sucked on the other and I could hear her breathing intensify as I did.

At that moment, I didn’t care about what was happening in the world or the revenge I had to carry out. It was the perfect distraction and her soft mourns were rhythms to my ears. I could feel every part of her, every corner of her body and I wanted it, I wanted more. I turned her and shifted her weight to the bed, immediately pouncing on her, I slipped my hand slowly over her abdomen, stopping at her belly button to tickle it, I turned to look at her and her eyes were shut, as she took in sharp breaths. I slowly worked my way around them, rolling my fingers and tracing her taunt nipples and she exhale sharply. I raised her hip and helped her jean off her, she kicked it off frantically and returned to position, her breath becoming sharper and abrupt in anticipation, but I was not going to give her that satisfaction easily. I ran my hands over her long legs, tracing her foot, and slowly working down her legs, I heard her take in a very sharp breath as soon as I was at the edge of her, but I skipped it, and repeated my actions on her second leg, also coming to an abrupt stop when I got to the end of her thighs.

I finally buried my heads in between her thighs and she gave a loud mourn, griping tightly on the bed sheet as I flicked my tongue around the external surface of her labia majora. I could feel her tighten almost immediately and she gave another loud mourn as she climaxed, moving her thighs hard towards me and grunting in pleasure. II stopped and moved up slowly towards her, making sure she felt every single breath on her body as I did. She opened her eyes and I could see it, she was the perfect contrast of me and completed me in every way. She placed her hands on the back of my head, and pulled me in for a kiss, running her tongue over mine and tasting every single bit of herself as we locked again in a tight hug.

*

Zion head of security walked into the large hall and walked towards him, he stopped some metres away from him.

“We found him.” He said.

Zion sighed and turned to face him.

“He is somewhere in the woods of Russia.” He continued.

“Get to him and make sure you find it.” He replied. Zion took some steps away, as he faded into thoughts. “There is also another problem. My source tells me that I am not the only higher fallen here and that my brother had also slipped out of Orca during the great escape and has remained here ever since, keeping a low profile.”

The head of security raised his head in shock. “This changes everything.” He said, concerned. “I know he is one man, but he is responsible of the deaths of thousands and can be detrimental to our mission. You have to get him on our side before it’s too late.”

Zion sighed again. “It is too late. I heard he has a family here, back then, he was a man without a weakness, but now, he isn’t anymore. I want you to move to ready a transport for me, it’s time I paid my brother and his family a visit.” He turned back to the flames in front of him and gave a wicked grin.

*

“How long are you going to be gone for?” Alicia asked as Dan zipped up his bag.

Dan raised his bag and placed it behind him. “It’s a day’s journey and I should be back before dawn tomorrow.” He walked towards her and gave her a kiss on her forehead. “Don’t worry, you will not be alone, and I will back before you know it.”

He ran his finger on his son’s head and gave him a wide smile. “Take care of your mom.” He whispered. He turned to Justin and the two guardians that he had instructed to stay behind and nodded. “I’m leaving them to you. Keep them safe no matter what.”

He took one final look at them before walking out of the cabin. He met the girl in black and the rest outside and they began their journey.

“Where exactly are we going?” The girl in black asked, strapping a bag behind her.

“Zion might think he has all the fallen here under his influence, but not all the fallen are loyal to him.” He replied as they walked into the woods.

CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT

I want you to ready a transport for me, it’s time I paid my brother and his family a visit.” He turned back to the flames in front of him and gave a wicked grin.

The head of security turned to leave when his phone beeped; he unlocked it and clicked on the icon and an image popped up, he turned to Zion as soon as he read the message that followed.

“Rachel has been spotted with the boy in a little town.” He spoke. “I think she found out the truth and might be hesitating.”

Zion turned to look at him and an idea hit him, he smiled. “We might not need to get our hands dirty after all. Send the men in to finish the job and retrieve Rachel, I have a new assignment for her.”

*

We both laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling. We had been in that position for a while, not saying anything to each other. I decided not to make the silence persist and turned to look at her. She was staring at the ceiling, but her mind was far away from her surroundings, this gave me some more time to run my eyes over her face again, I didn’t know why, but she thrilled me in a weird way and looked even more beautiful in a weird way too. It was crazy, what we had just done and no matter how I tried to justify it in my head, it just didn’t make any sense to me. After the moment of intense pleasure and passion, I was finally back in my right mind and knew that this was the perfect opportunity to get her on my side. She scoffed and rolled over to look at me, and her gaze was really something I could get used to.

“First and foremost, I’m not interested in joining your circus; I’m a lone wolf and prefer to operate that way. Secondly, I’ve always considered what you guys are doing to be childish and from the little stories I heard from Shelby, you don’t stand a chance in a million to defeat Zion, he is very sophisticated and doesn’t take this operation with any levity.”

I sighed, of course she read my mind once again and my thoughts were no longer mine, they were ours. It would take some time getting used to that of course, but not her face. For the first time since that night, I wondered where the girl in black and other guardians were and if they had made it out in one piece. It was going to be hard finding them now since I had lost every means of contact back in the desert.

“They are alive.” Rachel spoke standing up from the bed and moving to pick her clothes that were scattered on the floor. “They are currently in the woods of Albany creeks.” She pulled up her trouser and clicked the button.

I sighed and also picked up my short, wondering why she had decided to give me that info. “What will you do now?” I asked as I wore it.

She scorned. “Just because we had sex doesn’t mean you can suddenly ask me things. It was a mutual pleasure and was one we both needed at the time to ease stress, let’s leave it at that and go our separate ways. This does not change anything and the next time I see you, I will not let you walk away in one piece.” She pulled her shirt over her shoulders and picked a small bag on the floor.

I grabbed what was left of my shirt and stared at it, it was no longer in the shape to be worn and I sighed, I was no longer with my card or phone and was stranded in a village I didn’t know. I slapped my inner head and turned to look at Rachel, I was going to need her help if I wanted to locate them or at least get something to wear.

She turned to me and raised her eyebrows as if expecting me to say something, I rolled my eyes, she didn’t seem to have a trouble listening to my thoughts few minutes ago.

“I need to borrow some cash.” I blurted out, cringing inside. “And also maybe get your contact details, you never know when we might need to share Ideas.”

She scorned at my statement and I could swear at that moment that I saw her cheeks flush, even though her facial expression remained unchanged. She stared at me and looked at me from head down. “You will be needing more than clothes if you plan on reaching them.” She spoke and reached for her purse.

*

The girl in black panted and bent over, placing her hands on her knees for support. She raised her head to look at the others who all looked also out of breath, all but Dan and Hermione. This was the part she hated about Hermione; she never seemed to get out of breath no matter what they were doing. Dan turned to look at them, he had his usual one-sided smile on and he turned away to look at their surroundings.

There was a waterfall in front of them, and a thin river made a sluggish zigzag path away from it. He took in a long breath and exhaled longer.

“We are here.” He finally announced.

The girl in black raised her head, wondering what he meant. The whole area was deserted and you could barely hear anything, except for the constant chirping of birds and the gushing slap sound the waterfall made as the water hit the ground. Dan stepped forward, away from them and dipped one of his feet into the stream.

“You know, not all the fallen that escaped were able to adapt to the change in environment and how humans did their thing. It was actually a great burden for most and I knew I had to do something,” He placed his second feet into the water and sighed, turning to face them. “So, we had to improvise and we ended up creating our own community.” He reached into the water and pulled out a star shaped stone, he turned and walked towards the rock behind the waterfall and inserted the rock into a star shape on it and took a step back.

There was a large rumble as the rock slowly vibrated and gave way. The girl in black and the others stared in awe as this unfolded in front of them.

Dan turned to face them smiling. “Welcome to Tambov, our home away from home,”

The girl in black took some steps forward, walking into the gap the rock made. It was nothing like she had ever seen; it was an entire new world that no one would have guessed was there. An entire community of fallen hidden from the real world, kids ran around and others went on their way, doing one thing or the other, they were not even alarmed by their presence.

The others followed suit and Dan turned to look at them, he noticed something unusual about one of the guardians again. He had seen her earlier in the day whispering into a device just before dawn outside the cabin, he couldn’t make out what she said, but he grew suspicious of her. Now, his gaze caught her trying to access something hidden up her sleeve. Her gaze caught his and she shook in panic as she quickly tried to hide the device. He smiled at her, feigning ignorance; he needed to know what it was that she was doing and how to use it to their advantage.

*

I picked up the remains of the shirt and put it on, turning to look around the room. The memory I had made in it was one I was not going to be forgetting in the nearest future but it was time to put this to an end once and for all and if possible try to get my life back, no matter how hard that would be. Rachel had stepped out of the room a few minute ago, throwing off my suggestion of keeping in touch. I was a bit hurt by her refusal, but I knew it was only the right thing to do. We belonged to enemy camps and had already placed a foot wrong having sex. Her allegiance belonged to Zion, the man I had vowed to stop even if it cost my life and even if we faced in the warfront, I think I was going to let an afternoon of misplaced priorities stop me from getting my revenge. As i shut the door, I felt a little pain in my back, my wings had been badly wounded during the explosion and even though the other parts of my body had recovered, it hadn’t. This was a very big blow to me and I silently hoped that it would be fine when the final showdown came.

As I walked down the staircase into the tavern, my gaze caught Rachel at the door of the tavern; she was standing there and having a conversation with some men. From what I could gather, it was more of an argument. She argued that he did not pose a threat at that moment and that they should leave, but they remained adamant. It took me some time to realise that I was the object of their argument and when I did, it was too late to sneak away. One of the men turned to my direction and our eyes met, he was a fallen and my emotions suddenly took a turn as rage flowed through my vein.

“There he is.” The man shouted to the others and they all turned to me.

Rachel also turned to look at me, her gaze a mix of worry and pity.

“Run, you are not strong enough to face them, I will distract them, but you need to get out of here and find your circus.” Her voice sounded in my head and I was shocked; no one said anything about telecommunication.

I took one final look at Rachel, I knew that this was not going to be the last time we would be meeting, and the next time, i hoped it was on a more favourable condition. I hurried back up the stairs and ran down the corridor. There was a door on the end and i pushed it open. It led to a balcony and down, was a pile of grass to feed the horses. I tried once again to use my wings but the pain was unbearable, I could hear the men shouting from behind as they kicked some room open and headed towards my direction. I looked down once again and decided to make the jump, if a missile explosion couldn’t kill me, a few bruises wouldn’t.

There was a loud murmur in the room as everyone tried to speak at once, trying their best to be the loudest. Dan stared at them and sighed, turning to face the man that was sitting beside him; they were both sitting in front of the room on a small wooden chair and facing the others that sat in front of them. The man shook his head and stood to hit feet, smashing the table in front of him and finally getting everyone’s attention, the murmur reduced and finally came to a stop as more people returned their gaze to him.

“Ever since we have been here, living peacefully, we all knew that a day like this was inevitable. We have been living here, away from the world for too long and it is now time to join the fight for what is right.”

One of the men in the crowd raised his hands and stood up. “Why would we even join this fight? We all have our hatred for the first world, our world. We fought for them as soldiers, but we were casted away due to the corrupt system and relegated to an eternity of damnation. Why will we fight for a planet that threw us away like thrash and didn’t care what happened to us, even after the years we had dedicated to it?”

A loud murmur ensued again and the man shook his head turning to face Dan.

“They are all yours.” He muttered and took his sit.

Dan stood up and raised his hand, prompting the noise to die down. He turned to look around the room, at their individual faces.

“I understand your grievances, but this is no longer a fight to save the first world, this is a fight to save your children.” He paused and stared at them once again. Everyone was finally listening and he continued. “Like you all here, I also fought for the first world and on the day I was supposed to retire and receive all the rewards for my efforts, I was framed because they considered me too dangerous and unfit to live among the rest.”

The girl in black who was standing at a corner in the room, stared at her uncle, wondering what he meant by that statement. She had been trying hard to figure out why he had been cast out and thrown to Orca, he was not one to cause discords and he was not traitorous. Why was he considered too dangerous to live amongst the rest, what was it that he did in his time at the council? Her unanswered questions were piling up once again. Hermione smiled, she was shocked and still couldn’t believe it, but it was beginning to make sense now. She had been standing in front of the man she had looked up to her whole life and she didn’t even recognize him.

“I have also lived on this planet for a very long time and even though I was initially against it, I met the most beautiful woman here and it was only a matter of time before I finally succumbed to it and now I have a beautiful family of my own. What Zion is planning to does not only affect the first world, it also affects the entire universe. Successfully activating the Vynets on the day of alignment will not only wipe away every living thing on the remaining habitable planets, but it will also make it unfit for living, giving him the power to decide which of the planets becomes habitable. It is the decolonization of the entire universe once again and if it’s not stopped now, you all are going to watch your children die right in front of your eyes.”

One of the men scorned and got to her feet. “From what we heard, Zion is your family and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. What is the assurance that you are not like him and you only want to lure us out of our home to kill us?”

The man sitting beside Dan got up angrily, banging on what was left of the table. “Least I remind you that you will not be standing here with that peace of mind if it wasn’t for him?” He spoke angrily.

Dan raised his hands, motioning the man to stop. He turned to face the woman, putting on a smile. “I get that you might not trust me enough since you don’t know much about me, and I understand that you have grown fond of this place with time, but this place is not your home, and it’s time to do something worthwhile that can grant you a royal pardon and finally enable you to go home again. I’m sure your children will appreciate an environment where they are free to grow without the constant fear of what might happen next.” He turned to the man and nodded.

The man got to his feet. “This is where we will end this, as the head, I am not going to be making this compulsory, only volunteers will be accepted. You have three days to prepare your households and garner your strengths and weapons, I know it has been a while, but you never truly lose your art, you only get sloppy and will peak again with practice.”

The men and women got to their feet and started moving out of the room. Dan turned to the man.

“We will need more than men for this, we are up against thousands of fallen, it’s time to retrieve the box at the bottom of the river.”

Justin bit on the piece of apple he was holding and chewed it. He clicked into his PC and was trying to find any trace of Nikita using the remaining CCTV cameras that were still powered around the world. Most of them had been offline since the surge and it was even harder connecting to the internet at this stage. A lot of communication services had gone to the old way, transmitting their messages only trough radio frequencies. His computer beeped and he caught a dark image. From its look, he couldn’t tell if it was Nikita or not. His program showed that the image he had supplied and the image for the CCTV camera had the same facial dimensions. He sighed as he began clicking into his PC trying to find another camera in the same area and if possible get a clearer image.

There was a sudden pop up on the screen of his PC covering his work space. It was a video of their surroundings and he became alarmed when he found out who it was. He stood to his feet immediately, moving away from his PC. One of the guardians walked into the living room, catching his reaction. She moved slowly towards him, staring at him.

“What’s wrong?” She questioned.

Justin raised his head. “Where is Alicia and her kid?” He asked.

“They are with Helen in the backhouse. Why?”

“Go to them and find a place to keep them safe. Zion is here.” He replied hastily.

Zeke just get to that place in time before Zion kills that family or take them hostage. I just hope there is a way for Dan to sharpen his senses(powers- being the renowed general). Thanks Frankline for the updates.

If i read correctly. Justin didn't go to the 'new fallen world' with dan and ann and the guardians. Right?
Alicia, the kid, justin and some guardians are at the cabin.
zion just got to the cabin, and zeke is on an escape tour. Wow, i hope he gets to the cabin in time. I hope nothing happens to justin.
Zeke didn't insert into racheal right? So no possibilities of having a baby. Racheal sha be acting like she's not too bad anyway.
what's the box that's in the river? What's contained in it?
thanks frank. More grace
