Are you in nigeria? you must have a valid id card and a post card which saids "end sar/police brutality".

In saner climes, you'd need any government issued ID and the serial number (not IMEI) of the device to track it by taking it to CID and paying (though it should be free).

But we're not and I have/know no means of tracking it yet.



To y'all saying the phone is gone, stop it.
If the thief changes IMEI, the phone can still be be tracked.
If he has the serial number (which can't be changed by the thief) he can track/disable the device.

Tracking phones don't really work in Nigeria bro, it's so sad.
I'm using a Huawei currently, when I wanted to set the tracking they told me it wasn't yet available for my area.

When someone stole my phone inside bet9ja shop around June 2018..my friend took me to one diabolical guy like that,the guy mentioned the name of the person that took my phone and truly it was him..i left the man's place and went to go and confront the guy but he denied it.
My mum just adviced me to forget about the phone and move on with life.
Life goes on and we are bigger than smartphones.

Go to the CID and register your complaint. They've a way to go about it.
