Hi,
I have multiple files to send but there’s only one button to upload, my transcript has multiple pages and is a pdf format, how do I upload that to word?

Your transcripts are supposed to be merged with other supporting documents in pdf file format and uploaded on the Client Information section. Please, read page one of this thread before you apply to ensure you're not making any mistake. Do not be in a rush, do it right the first time.

Check out the link below for the application procedure, how to merge documents and where to upload them.

I suspected and expected this.

Is it safe to play the waiting game and watch and see till one's schl is added or best to start applying to other schools whose plans have been approved?

There is an assumption out there that, some applicants are semi-approved through AIP but to get fully approved and to receive PPR , the DLI must be on the list, I suppose since all the ones who got the PPR's are on the list, I might be wrong.

To everyone who has AIP and recently got BVL,
is ur DLI approved for the COVID-19 readiness plan?

That's not a correct assumption. There's no correlation between DLI readiness and approval. Approval doesn't mean you can travel. I think most approvals will be issued within the next two to four weeks and then students can consider travelling should their universities be on the list. Even if they have the approval and their universities are not on the list, they won't be able to travel.

I’m sure this question has probably been asked countless times before but is it possible to migrate to Canada through just a masters programme? I know most people get into schools as an undergrad and then apply for jobs afterwards but some of us don’t have funds for 3-4 years of school.

Thanks bro, seen, should I show my old ielts exam taken in 2016? I know it’s not needed, but is it advisable
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Chocs(f): 12:34pm On Oct 21, 2020
Hello TwentiesGirl

Yes.

You don’t need to do undergrad in Canada to qualify. In fact you can go directly from Nigeria if you have a masters and work experience.

it’s calculated based on some factors and you get points. If your points are up to the set cutoff point, you will be eligible to apply for PR. But to get points high enough, you should have a degree, masters, and work experience. 3 years preferably (if it is foreign work experience) if it’s Canadian work experience route then 1 year of working in Canada is enough. If you’re married, there are other factors to be considered (this is an oversimplification, for you to understand it well, you need to read and research yourself)

There is an express entry thread here on nairaland, please see link below

https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled

Please read the link below as well

Best wishes

It’s been more than 2 years. I don’t think it’s necessary.

I’ve been seeing your questions and I’m scared you’ve not fully understood the procedure. It’s not a crime to ask but your questions show you need more knowledge. I’m pleading with you to read this thread from page one till the end before you apply. I see you plan on submitting this week. Please read and understand everything to avoid errors. May you be successful.

Best wishes

Or where can I upload such documents Or should I upload them in the financial sector as they are both my sponsors??

I understand it may seem that way, but i am just trying my best to be extra extra careful as I am not using an agent, so I want to be 1000% sure the information I have is the correct one before I proceed

WOWWWWWW. BVL without AIP, and for a Sept application too.
So it appears this may be a new trend for those who applied post AIP (2 stage application process).
Super congrats!

Hello,

Timeline

So another question is if those that received BVL earlier this week have gotten passport request.

Are the visas affixed here in Nigeria or do the passports have to go to Canada?

How long before submitting your passport and receiving same back with visa affixed?

CHINA VO'S

Congratulations on the receipt of a BVL. It is clearly evident that Nairobi immigration office is presently facing a high volume of applications, hence the re-distribution of applications to Beijing, China visa office in order to assist in reducing the backlogs.

It will end in praise.

After a passport request has been initiated by the visa officer. The passports are being taken to Nairobi immigration office for visa stamps/issuance.

On a normal condition, you should receive your stamped visa passport delivered to you or at the VAC within 2-3 weeks.

It will end in praise.
