In my second encounter with them at Benin-Asaba highway, immediately they started the harrasment i mentioned name of someone who is very powerful in Nigeria and show them my whatsaap conversation with him..this made them to let me go quickly..now what will happen to someone who knows nobody..they will be harrased, intimidated, molested, extorted or maybe killed. This is what many Nigerians face daily in the hands of uniform men in Nigeria.

At Ore-Benin highway, Customs withheld my vehicle customs papers several times which was valid and complete because "i must do Christmas for them" or there statement will be like "how can you have this fine car and not give us something"
I found out that they will not let go most times that i insist that i have no money with me. All this is not right,We need a total reform!

FDI wanting to invest in Malls in Nigeria to tap into the middle class will surely have a rethink ....with the growing poverty in Nigeria malls are seen as targets......there is long term repercussion going forward ...fdi need stability and security to invest ..we might only be having short term fpi which rearly creates Jobs .any legimate thing that would get our people engage to reduce the poverty should be priority...when there are no more malls to loot the next targets will be........as the government have a big blame for providing the enabling environment for tout breeding and poor leadership ,parent have also failed in proper parenting in large numbers....

This country has more poor people than anywhere in the WORLD. Current statistics puts extremely poor at about 104 million - extremely poor!!! We are not even talking about normal poor yet.

We have always been a ticking time bomb....I pray this goes away soon though.

In Lagos, everywhere you go, from Lekki to Ikoyi to Abule Egba, they are everywhere. They outnumber us, the army, the police, everyone.

Our politicians should learn from this, and start doing better. Else, we may not survive a repeat. The poor are slowly realising that they have the numbers.

This is usually how revolution starts. Check history.

Note: this is not even about tribe. The poor have no tribe, at least during chaos, they are one.

Nigeria governance and economy is programmed in a way that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

I have been there ...we went to commission a bore hole in ijora badia I was shocked at the unimaginable poverty i saw and it was unjustifiable that ijora is less than 20km from parkview estate ,eko Atlantic, and Apapa port ...i was very sure the 52m usd private jets bought by a political leader can transform and change the destiny of many in that area ....

There is a total disconnect between the rich, the extremely rich, the middle class (if we still have one) and the poor in this country.

I always feel sad when I see how youths and poor are subtly bashed in this thread sometimes. I personally believe poverty does something to majority of people's mental thinking. I think poor people in rural and semi urban areas are more honorable and seem content than poor people in urban areas. This is simply because of the affluence they see, and then they are also caught up in the greed, fast life desire.

We need our politicians to do better, and do better fast.

The number of thugs and cultists alone in Lagos, if they unite....all of us go run. These folks don't care if they die...

Sure. They see these things. And their bitterness and envy grows. We have them in our houses as cleaners, maids, security guards etc. This is not to scare anyone, but they watch us, they know us.

Politicians manipulate them every time for votes, but for how long....what can 500 naira, 1000 naira, a small bag of rice do. They don't even treat them like equals.

In fact eh,... it is well.

Musicians, comedians and co that where gigering the public without a contamiment strategy on how thugs might wants to hijack the process and the govt will look away (govt strategy) to give the peaceful protest a bad name to hang it are also going to pay a heavy price (they are not grounded in business talents)......their main source of income is from shows in hotels and Agm and company end of the year ......so if thugs destroy all the classy hotels in island where will u host your events to generate income ? If thugs burt down gtb and co who will endorse you and pay for end of the year party .......this Last quota is their peak income period ..which is probably lost ......i can see any serious event happing this year in the entertainments world ..lost income and more poverty and more frustration

This here is the issue now. This is becoming more, especially in Lagos, a riot against normal people/normal business. What is the business of my tech shop with ENDSARS, why loot small shops with no insurance!!!!!!!!

About 30 BRT buses were burnt at Oyingbo, even though the over 600 of such buses in Lagos is not enough for the populace

Sadly, to them, you are rich, even if you're also an upcoming person/business.

When chaos hits, it is the rich vs the poor. To them, all rich people are the reason for their situation. They don't care that you're not the politician or the armed forces that abuses power. They don't care.

My hope is that deep down, we can be reasonable. The poor can be reasonable. This will stop soon.

Yep, a regeneration program can fix this.

Nigeria's problems are actually easy to rectify (unpopular opinion) but as we know . hmm

My own be say we too believe in rumors without doing any due diligence. Lekki killings this Lekki massacre that and yet till date there is no concrete evidence. No family members have come up to coraborate the alleged killings. As far as I know only one soul was lost in d hospital several hours later. We are not even sure if he sustained gun wounds or die from some other causes.

This has been a eye opener to me o, CNN and co sometimes carry unverified news.

Go on Twitter
And see how, they are trying to use tribalism as a last card to divide the Nigerian youths and the Nigerian masses

Especially that unfortunate fellow that call himself Adamu Garba...

To be very honest
I'm happy that most people are not falling for the gimmicks anymore

Nigerians going forward identify more along class than tribal lines

The marginalised people nationwide are the ones causing the carnage NATIONWIDE

I used to say it last year on this forum
But some dont believe me
These marginalised fellow
If we dont do something to alleviate their pains
Will unleash chaos on the country when the opportunity comes

Bad governance have long term consequences

#SayNoToBigotry #SayNoToTribalism

Tribalism is a tool used by the Nigerian elite
Its time for the Nigerian people to render that tool obsolete

Especially Nigerians under 40

Didn't you watch the evidences as littered everywhere?

I'm surprised you of all people are saying this
