Here is the moment the youths of Ijora community of Lagos state prevented hoodlums from invading and destroying the palace of the Ojora of Ijora, Oba Fatai Oyeyinka.

The Youths stood against the thugs who had come with the intention of destroying the palace, saying it was their heritage and they will not let it be destroyed.

The palace of a number of Monarchs has been under attack of recent following the shooting of unarmed protesters by the military at the Lekki Tollgate on Tuesday night.

I think you have a point here.
as much as I condemn any form of looting and destruction, I think the oba of lagos got what he deserves.
no community would allow their king to be disgraced like that, especially a top king.

Oba Akinolu of Lagos deserves whatever shame and disgrace that come his way.

He disrespected the most revered King and most sacred stool in Yoruba land.
He disrespected the Ooni of Ife and this is karma, the gods are angry at him.
He was a Police Officer and obviously his rogue attitude as a Police Officer still sticks with him.
He thinks he can disrespect anybody (typical of Police Officers) and get away with it.

This might not be the end of his disgrace and now that his Staff of Office, the symbol of his authority has been paraded around the streets of Lagos who knows what next for him.
He greedily stuck COVID19 palliatives in his Palace when his subjects are hungry.

If the government is greedy and heartless the Oba who is seen as father to all should not be.

Thank u guys,hatred is a terrible virus that blind the heart and eyes from reality of our common role in this country as citizens,buharia have only two and half years ..he might be dead in few years time but you and your children will remain here for awhile.. think about it,u destroy the little infrastructures this greedy men in power were able to build ,then u loot from your own fellow citizens and you still think u are protesting against police or bad governance,what is the different between you and the likes u think you are fighting? ...God save this crop of youths in this country from the bitterness of hatred and poverty,so that we can contribute our quota to the progress of our nation ijn....please though Am Igbo man what is happening both in the west and east is terrible for me,please let's not be tribal about this ,God created man one in his image and likeness before man begin to divide himself in different ways and means that doesn't allow him to function properly as his maker intended
