They were there at 7 pm for curfew that has not been violated yet. Remember curfew starts at 9pm. Light was switched off, security camera removed at the scene... Very sinister and evil intentions identified here. Then they shot at unarmed protesters who were only waving national flag and singing national anthem. Whereas several flash point requiring army attention are scattered across Lagos the shameless army choose the most peaceful most organised place in Lagos to show off. She can't, we've seen many people denied being killed, no families formally complain about missing children in the same scene. The truth will come but it's so unfortunate how people spread unverified news.

Why is he a buffoon?

Evidence is needed especially given how crucial this is to democracy in Nigeria both for authorities and the people’s need to protest in future. It is not good enough to just say, 'the army took away bodies' or that 'families are being prevented from coming forward to ask for their dead relatives'. Evidence is needed. You need evidence, hard evidence that no one can deny, that a massacre took place! And those that argue none took place also require evidence. Frankly, in this issue, how offended you feel or anyone feels about other people daring to question deaths at Lekki, is emotional and irrelevant! Even if people are littering the floor dead, the evidence of thire deaths by solders need to be a formal enquiry. It has to be done with committees, peoples representative, television, courts, families , in other to bring closure.

This needs independent investigation, enquiry and court hearing, families of dead need to be brought forward. People wre not scared to riot, burn property, behead police and kill soldiers; families of the supposed Lekki deaths will not be afraid to come forward. If their whereabouts are unknown well they had better become known.

Also it’s not good enough to say the president or state governors say deaths too place or did not take place. They were not there in person and whatever facts are at their disposal, brought to them by those in the know, needs to be made public and official trough due processes or we create processes.

1. There was shooting that night as we can see from the video I sent earlier.

6. More so, whether the soldier shot into the air or water, the shooting was unnecessary.

Finally, nobody knows tomorrow. What shall we say if tomorrow we decide to protest peacefully or join a peaceful protest and suffer the same brutality?

We should condemn any act of brutality whether against us or any other human being.
