Forget about the incident in the Oba’s palace for a second, because this is a thread regarding what happened in Rivers. The Governor is not castigating the Igbos, but rather decrying the activities of the IPOB, and don’t forget some Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Cross River and Delta indigenes are members of this group. What I’m trying to say is the membership is drawn from other States and not just the Eastern States.

It is no secret that the mayhem unleashed in Rivers was done by the members of this group. The Governor as the CSO cannot just sit and fold his hands while his State is turned into a battle ground.

The northerners, Easterners and Southerners are all equals in the State. Rivers people accommodate all.

Can someone tell these ignoramuses that IPOB is not Igbo and Igbo is not IPOB. Go and learn. IPOB is an ethnic group. IPOB is pressure group. Yes, a lot of Igbos subscribe to their movement but there are a million Igbos who hate their belief with passion. Please, be civilised and think like a modern human. Don't commit the same offence that you accuse bigots of. Let a lot of ignoramuses also know that Rivers state is not an ethnic group; Rivers state is a state with people from different ethnic groups. There are plenty of indigenous Igbos in Rivers state. Can we quit thinking along ethnic lines and see the state as ours to protect against any form of attack or aggression from any group be it IPOB, task force, herdsmen, criminals, etc. Stop fanning the embers of ethnic cleansing. All our governors are the same, dividing the masses to conquer them and playing willing slaves to the powers that be in Abuja while confusing and lying to the masses. Can Wike swear that Oyigbo was not invaded last night by Hausa and soldiers, pulling people from their homes and killing them? We all know that the government have been trying unsuccessfully to blame IPOB for the nationwide carnage but since they failed to do so in Lagos especially with the ongoing Hausa vs Yoruba violence in Fagba, Oyigbo in Rivers state now becomes their new theatre of deceit.
