Men: Can You Fight Over A "Snatched" Partner? by thesilentman(op): 7:35pm On Oct 25, 2020
This sunday evening,i risked my life trying to wrench a broken bottle from a neigbour who was all out to stab his fiance.
The bone of contention was that the lady got pregnant for another guy-obviously she had been two-timing him.Hence, she had for the past one week, been trying to pick a fight with him that would lead to splitsville between both of them. The guy did not fall for the trick and then the lady had to come clean that the pregnancy is not his. This got the guy raving bonkers. Everyone tried to console him that he should forget about the lady, that life goes on and all that jazz.
Till now,he's still fuming and in severe pains.
How can i console him? I'm pretty much confuse because i still can't fathom whether his reaction is rational or not.
Guys can you fight over a snatched lover?
Is it worth it? Would you try what he did if you were in his shoes?
Happy sunday to all nairalanders!

Hmm.

I only read the title of the post — too lazy to read the content.

No, men don't fight for two things

1. Women
2. Money

They attract them, they don't fight for or over them.

Fighting is for up-and-coming men — boys.

Do You have reading comprehension problem or you are just deliberately being obtuse?

Op, your title is misleading, the guy wasn't fighting another guy, he was just incensed over his lying/cheating girlfriend who was with him at the time. Two things are involve here; fighting another guy over a girl and punishing your girl for infidelity. No, i wouldn't fight any man over a girl. Yes, i would beat up a girl for fooling around while with me. Hell, i might injure her for life.

I shall never understand why men go mad because of women. Well, maybe it's because I do not understand romantic love and obsession because anything irrational doesn't make sense to me.

It doesn't matter if you're tough, bad, good, handsome, ugly, smart, or rich. The rule remains the same.

"What's the rule?" You asked. The rule is to fall in like, not in love until she is your wife and with 2 biological kids for you.

The moment any man falls in love, he becomes a fool. This is why wise men keep love for later and exercise only likeness/friendliness.

You can end a friendship and you can stop liking someone, but love? That sh!t is hard and can make you do sh!t as revenge for love, investing (time and money) on the person.

Another rule is: whoever invests more time, money, and emotions (especially emotions) cries more.

Oh well... that's sad. But people shouldn't trust others to be perfect so they don't get disappointed and hurt.

Yes 95% of men will do it, if she doesn't want you let her go, am very sure he doesn't want to let the lady go, that why she had no choice than to get pregnant for another guy.

Are you insinuating that the guy was overly possessive? If so,is that a crime?

Yes he was too possessive, sometimes you give people freedom, relationship is not by force, the lady was already tired of him a long time ago, but he never notice this, because he was too possessive.
