Most of the fans are upset he's playing. I feel the same way too . Although I am still surprised he's not starting but I feel he will get his time..

I really had lots of expectations when he came in 2018. But at this stage, I don't know what to think anymore. He's still one of my best united player to ever wear the jersey but as a coach, he has proved he's not tehnically sound.

Playing him as a holding midfielder will destroy him.. Nd our game. He will be like Pogba.

He only knows how to run into the box not defending.

Be like playing Mason mount with kante in midfield.

Nothing bad in playing 2 number 10 but the blocking 4 needs to work extra hard.

I don't see Mac or Fred doing that.

Matic is good at if but he can only last 30 minutes before he starts committing fouls everywhere

If Rotation is the reason he's not playing right now... Then it's Okay because we have a lot of matches to play this season

One of our biggest problems post lockdown was running Bruno into the ground..
Leipzig would be the perfect game to play VDB and pogba in a diamond with Fred and mctominay, play Greenwood and martial up top, can’t play Rashford every game he’ll burn out too

If i hear anybody say make VDB play double pivot with Fred. Which kain thing be that. . Deploying Fred is more effective if he plays alongside Mc Tominay. None of dem is a legit DM, but at least you can trust you have a lot of fire there. They can compensate for their inadequate defensive prowess by being present everywhere just within the second third of our half. Just wish we had a faster DM. It was obvious Chelsea was looking for a draw, if you ask me, that's progress. Lampard obviously didn't want last season's humiliation, so although they were having most of the ball, they were clueless with it. I believe that diamond formation needs a legit DM to be effective. Just wish Mc Tominay can be that person. That defensive recklessness is still there. Perhaps at 23, he can still modify his game to improve his decision making in the middle of the pack. How about Fosu Mensah? Perhaps they could play him in that position for our reserve matches. He looks like someone who could be effective in that. Once we get that reliable DM, we would be talking about devastating attacking machinery doing the lord's work in the other two-thirds of the field. Besides, perhaps we can understand that against certain opposition, at least for now VDB would just not be effective. Waiting for that Leipzig match though. I want to see something.

I said Pogba is managing 20 minutes now as well. I said nothing about WHY he is managing 20 minutes. VDB is not Zidane or Michael Laudrup that he will just walk into our midfield and start demanding playing time. He is a good midfielder and his time will come.
