No time to be hoping for better governance again, let's breath down their necks for better governance.

The political class had better sit tight, or what happened in the last 3 weeks would be a child's play to what is coming.

The beast they have been creating is fast coming of age...peace out

Living faith with all their billions cant even help the situation.

It ain’t their fault, companies and churches met with the governor and his cohorts to fix the road , he refused. Both the previous governor and this present one. They were asking for kickbacks which was outrageous, when Osinbajo came to open a factory here , the matter was raised yet nothing, Incase you don’t know, this road is usually given to cronies in the government to fix but it is usually looted, if you try to fix it , your company will get sanctioned or you get arrested.

You missed the first exams because you didn't know the state of the road.

You missed the second exam because you were careless. The first miss didn't teach u anything.

If another exam comes up in that axis, you will still miss it.

Yeah I love this.

Dapo and all previous Ogun state governors don't really respect people from those area. SangoOta, Ijoko and Agbara side are nothing but eyesore but they feed the state.

that Ota road is something else I pity people using that road and I heard that Bishop Oyedepo volunteered to fix the road but the govt refused.

Disgusted with them? Who says they don't know what is right or wrong. There has been many instances where the road should have been fixed but the state government rejected the proposal/offer. Pastor Oyedepo of winners wanted to fix that idi Iroko road from sango down go canaan land because of shiloh, state government turned it down. Gas line (shell) wanted to fix the road, they turned it down. Olota of otta and surrounding kings who needed thier roads fixed were asked to sacrifice their allowance for 12 months when they petitioned the state govt to fix the road, they all refused without thinking twice. And everyday this kings ply the bad road with thier staff of office protruding from the car.

Your head is there. Ojuore, Ilogbo, Sango and Joju roads are very important. The sleeping governor doesn't even have much to do but he has failed to wake up

And in all this, which attitude did the people residing in the area give?

To fix it or not, cos if it's fix it,that should have been done long time ago

Good morning. Read my posts around election season and see how I resist those who go to the polls 'in hope'.

I usually tell them that you don't employ a driver and hope he doesn't send you off a bridge. You don't employ a security guard and hope you can get some sleep at night. No.

You screen and test for competency. Instruct, train and monitor on the job for performance. That is you get the best eggs and then MAKE the best omlette. Only a mad man will employ a cook to drive and expect miracles in the name of 'hope'. That is foolishness.

Great soccer players are made by great managers serving in great clubs. Great clubs ensure they buy certified or potentially great players. That is the right way.

If Nigeria desires to progress then it has to assemble the greatest set of Nigerians to lead them, get them contesting vigorously for office and after electing them MAKE them to deliver the best policies and programmes possible.

That is a surer way than 'hoping'. What the hell is hoping. That is gambling with your life, your future.

I totally agree with you on this, but the limitation to this is the fact that the entire political system in Nigeria is rigged to screen out sound minds without Godfathers.

How many youths have PVCs?
Won't the political class find a means to disenfranchise youths in particular?
Won't d names of people in a certain age grade be missing on voter's register ?
Won't the ranks of the youth be infiltrated before the next election?
So many questions bro, so my questions.

The entire political space needs an overhaul, serious rejigging, starting with that God damn constitution.

The deplorable state of the road is quite alarming, but they should know when to back down because from the last #EndSARS protest it became clear most Nigerians are not mentally ready for a change.

Like the saying "Rome was not built in a day" This change we re all clamoring for takes time and most Nigerians don't know that, they are greedy and would use any opportunity they have to loot and cause pain to others.

This take here is trash (my apologies). The people have been patient for over 60 years independence and over 20 years of democratic rule but what did the leaders do? They took them for granted. There is no right time to wake up and ask the government you elected to give you your basic rights, it is now or never.

Protest won't stop not this year or next, the people learnt that the government only understand, and civil disobedience and they will use that to get what they want from the government. Except more protest this year, and maybe the mother of all protest very soon.
