Long range shooting is a collective term for shooting disciplines where the shooter has to engage targets at such long distances that he has to calculate ballistics, especially in regards to wind. While shooting at shorter or "regular" ranges, one usually has to adjust the sights only in regards to gravity (which is constant) but, when the range is extended, wind drift will be the first factor affecting precision to the extent that it must be taken into account.

Some would argue that long range shooting starts where assessment of wind, distance, and various atmospheric conditions are equally important for the results as pure shooting skills - meaning that even if one conducts a technically perfect shot, the shooter will miss the target because of incorrect calculations, or forgetting to take some element into consideration. It is widely accepted within interdisciplinary circles that long range means the target is more than 600 meters away, while extreme long range is generally accepted as when the target distance is more than 1000 meters away from the shooter.

Let me say that the below are part of those things which could make an ammo or gun miss it target.

1. Marksmanship - if the person firing the gun is not well trained.

2. Wind velocity, gravity and other elements- eg
the Speed of the wind and direction at which it's moving at the point of release of the bullet or when the bullet is in flight.

3. Quality of the Gun and ammo - if the quality of either the gun or ammo is bad, then it could miss 99% of the time at 30m above; Worse still if both the gun and ammo are if inferio/ low quality. Eg. Russian Ak vrs Chinese or North korean/iraqi made Aks and ammo.( The difference is very clear but those who don't know see all Aks as russian made.

4. Fear or state of mind of shooter - Firing a gun need total concentration as it's necessary for you to hit your target and you tend to miss if you are not focused.

5. Calculation - The shooter have to calculate the right trajectory taking the wind and other factors into consideration, he or she most or should calibrate more often the optical sight or scope of the gun for better accuracy.

6.Sight/vision of shooter - How good is the eye sight/vision of the person pulling the trigger matter a lot and as such you tend to have a 50/50 chance of hitting your target if you have a bad sight eg Some are short sighted and some long sighted.

The above are just a few reasons why a shooter can miss a target but alas! There are also certain things that are beyond human imagination or comprehension.

Thanks for this. There are a thousand and one reasons why a shooter could easily miss a target. But no, these illiterates will attribute it to juju. They don't even know what Coriolis effect is when it comes to shooting.

I watched the video that jmaine kid posted and I just laugh. Looking at the quality of that gun even a marksman could easily miss from that range. Most of the juju or odeshi videos I've seen in my entire life usually involves inferior weapons. I've never for once seen a quality weapon used on someone and it refused to penetrate.

Lol this video is very old and has been debunked severally to be scam.

See the problem with this juju nonsense that illiterates believe it easier. They are ignorant and easy to deceive..

That video you posted us/was nothing but a scam. Check the recoil of that AK. You don ever see where AK 47 dey recoil like that? . It meant he was definitely firing blanks. Moreover the soldier was firing blanks. Blanks can still even injure you if done inappropriately just like you can see the soldier injuring himself towards the end. Blank cartridges work by doing away with metal bullets. Instead, the top of the shell is covered with paper, plastic or cotton an when fired, you'll still get that convincing sound of a real shot. Get educated and don't be ignorant okay.

You no see the recoil of that AK? Na so Ak dey recoil? These are petty tricks or "magic" that you see everyday on the streets. Oyibo man or clown go dey do tricks for circus bring out rabbit from hat, black man go say na juju whereas there are simple explanations to these petty tricks. Go and watch the carbonator effect or the next great magician on DStv. If you dey call all these small one for naija jazz I wonder weytin u go call those ones. Wake up abeg. There is a reason why azubike said many of you who believe in this juju stuff haven't handled or have a knowledge of how these weapons work. That particular video surfaced about 2 years ago and was bursted by experts to be wayo. The guy was actually firing blanks, the AK he used gave him away, if it was live ammunition, it won't recoil that way. Even the sound of the shots sef no follow. Moreover he dey claim jazz yet he got injured towards the end. Firing blanks can still injure you if u put the gun in contact with the skin or if you fire it inappropriately. The excuse given by juju fanatics was that the jazz was already fading that's why he got injured lol. If e dey work ordinary blanks no suppose wound am.

When someone fortified with "juju" dies the excuse juju believers give is that the juju faded,

juju dey fail sometimes,

when it's your time to die you will die,

the person that killed him get stronger juju than am,

juju pass juju, juju no dey work for night time,

juju no dey work inside rain

and a ton of ridiculous and hilarious excuses grin . Make una calm down abeg, nothing like juju. They are just feeding on ur psychology an imagination

If you have not seen mad odeshi, then you may have to experience the days of the BAKASSI boys...They operated one of the highest odeshi ever in Nigeria...They were hyper rugged, brutal, killers, dreaded, feared, very powerful, they could face and conquer and kill strong men, but but but but

No mind am. I'm ready to pay him that money. I have some colleagues at ojo barracks. Ojo barracks is very big with enough land and there's a particular isolated mass of land there at the extreme end where they often practice. Sometimes, soldiers from ojo barracks who drag criminals or offenders from across Lagos into the barracks are often taken there to be secretly wasted and buried if they aren't interested in taking you to the guard room for punishment.

So na here we go test am. Let him just tell me when he's ready. Just two shots to the head close range.
If he survives, he gets credited with 500k. If he dies, we bury him instantly.

LIFE AFTER INITIATION

Immediately after my initiation, I travelled home to take proper treatment as my ass was swollen all over with injuries from the mending . I got home and I met my mum who asked me what happened. I told her I was robbed and stubborn and I refused dropping my money and other items and so the robbers pounced on me. She swore and cursed the robbers and then I started medication. I returned after a week and I was told by my LM that I need to do my Christmas . Christmas in black axxe cult is a ceremony a new initiate must observe in other to meet other black axxe members so they can give you the Black axxe orientation . You are to buy drinks for them . I observed my CM and I became a full axxe member .

My CGPA dropped drastically and all my lecturers where surprised . A very good friend known as EFE , may your soul Rest In Peace . Efe became jealous of me after being a member of the Black axxe as I now moved with bad gangs and fearfully looking guys on campus, he went to become a member of the eiye confraternity just because I became a member of the Black axxe. 2 weeks after is initiation, he was shot dead by axxe men. There was a serious fight on campus and I tried all my possible best to reach out to efe but I couldn’t . I had already left town and efe was busy jumping around campus with eiye members when he was shot dead and the rest abandoned him. The whole issue was settled and I returned to campus . I barely spend a month on campus before absconding. We run for our lives at every minute . I can’t stay out late and have fun unless I am with other black axxe members . Seeing what happened to my friend and I do not want to die, I called my LM that I wanted to see him . I got to him and he said I should go and do spiritual stuff like JUJU because of gun and cutlasses . I then seeked for spiritual protection against guns and cutlasses . I travelled all the way to agbor to meet a man without arms and complete legs. He prepared charms for me against cutlass and guns. I had a cousin in ekpoma also a black axxe member , I went to him and we went to somorika after auchi and igarra just for gun and cutlass protection. I came back and I was ruthless . I cursed troubles and wars on campus but I didn’t kill as my sanity was still in check . I struggled to graduate with a 2.2 in my field even when I was the best in class .

After my final paper , I was sitting outside my hostel with other axxe members who came to celebrate with me and other axxe men and to congratulate us for our final exam when a group of fearfully looking men stormed my hostel and shot at some of my friends and me, two died in the spot but I escaped and I the charms worked . I travelled home and immediately and I had to cut ties with them and renounced my membership as a member . I went back to a private school and I graduated with a first class in geology. Now I have my masters in petroleum geology and I thank God for my life before joining the DSS .

Lessons

No cult group can fight another cult group for you, it’s only a matter of time before you get killed

Report to the relevant authorities and if possible, get a lawyer and sue thier asses , do not fall for cheap blackmail

No cult is stronger than the others, they are all liers and extortionist .

It’s only the security agency that can help you from cultist.

Be wise as people die everyday as a result of cult activities . You are not protected from another cult group of you join a particular one . If you die, they will settle your case with money

You will live a way ward life

Stand your ground. Cultist are humans like you , threat thier Bleep up if they try you.

Even the man that took me for the initiation today is now a pastor after escaping cold hands of death . Be wise

Ciao
Thank you and may God bless you
