Cameras and displays are two different things that are totally independent on one another. Your display does not affect camera quality and vice versa. Both are hardwares- means you cannot change their physical properties by downloading anything. If your phone has an LCD screen, there's nothing you can do to change it to an Amoled/ OLED display.

This new control center on Miui 12 I can't see my notifications like WhatsApp messages and co.
Is this how it is or is there a way to set it? If not let me use the old control center.
