You can run side busineses but you'll have to put someone in charge. Alot of military personnels own some danfos you see on the road, okadas, taxis, superstores etc and they remit the daily/weekly income to them. You just have to put someone in charge to manage the business for you

About travelling, it's not possible. Like someone said, you've sold your peace the moment you decide to join the military. You have no freedom for such luxury, it's prohibited. The only time you might get the chance to travel out is if you get selected for a course or training outside the country. Before you join that thing, consider and have a deep rethink.

I beg to differ, it's 100% possible. Army no be 24/7/365... Deres something call "annual leave" , usual span between 21 days to 31 days depending on d rank.

how is this one related to reason for the postponement of the exam till further notice...? It is very glaring that the stuff would be postponed, but not because of your own stated reason.

I think they postponed because of the uncertainty and civil unrest..

Plus spetnaz does it affect regulars as well, cos if it does, they won’t be relaxed with the enlisting...

Last last with all these developments it’ll be screening straight maybe in January..

There is still ample time since it's cbt. They will get the result immediately the last candidate writes the exam.
We pray things get back to normalcy on or before Friday. Then the exams might be rescheduled to 7th November, 2020.
And just maybe, they might just decide to shortlist straight up but I believe much resources had been earmarked for the exams.
The thing get as e be, make I just face my Chevening scholarship application.

For all these things.. all I know is SSC cadets must do 9 months training ...DSSC can do theirs whenever .. cos failure to start in January will extend pop date by months and that won’t sit well with regulars.. so it’s either the exam still holds or it’s canceled..but screening must be between December and January while said successful cadets will still resume in January...

Even in some agencies/parastatal within the civil service you can't do that talkmore of the military. Sometimes you won't even get pass to travel to a neighboring state talkmore of going for picnic abroad. I know a solder that was given pass to go for his wedding and he reported for duty to his base on a Monday..
