Thanks bro and congratulations..
Wify works as an auditor in one of the big 4 and I work as a financial analyst. We are looking at exam options that we can scale tru easily to enable us settle in fast..

I will advise you to take a look in indeed. Search for the jobs you are looking to get and then look at the requirements. Doing this will give you an idea of what you will need. For the roles you mentioned, it’s usually CPA that a lot of employees ask for. Wish you all the best.

There are rules on CIC website about who can travel. Please go through this link. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/travel-restrictions-exemptions.html#citizen-pr

Are you aware of this clause? They may not allow short landing because of covid. Please clarify with cic before coming.

Okay, thanks for the reminder but I am not doing short-landing.

However, I'll put what you've said under advisement.

Hello seniors,
Do you think any discrimination exists against qualifications acquired outside the province, but within Canada?

Secondly, has anyone here taken a course/program with Robertson College, Manitoba or Centre for Distance Learning, Nova Scotia? Please I need reviews.

Thank you.

Looking for a single female housemate for a temporary period of 3 months. Location is Centre Street Calgary NW.
Rent is attractively affordable at $675 per month including all utilities and apartment is *fully furnished*.

Access to bus and Train, 20 minutes to Downtown.

I don't think you should be worried about that kind of discrimination. If there is, it would be a small percentage and likely by a small company.
he has said it all. Currently writing acca to convert to cpa. Since ican has decided to be useless. [/quote

Hi ednut
I have some questions
1. Please will Acca mean an automatic conversion to CPA or there are certain exams that must be written to get the CPA?
2. I have no background in internal audit. However i like to write the CIA and CFE exam? What are your thoughts? I have experience in banking and insurance operations.

like i said these things are online already. Acca gets you a cpa without exam. The current agreement expires in April 2021. A new one is being worked on. They may introduce exam i suspect.

I need help as this question was asked to me by a family friend. I told the person I will post it on Nairaland and get back to her.

This is the issue:

The lady had run away from an abusive marriage in Botswana. She went to South Africa along with her 3 kids (All under 10).

From South Africa she was able to travel to Canada leaving her 3 children in Johannesburg with her sister. She was granted refugee status in Canada.

Now, she is in the process of reuniting with her children. She has applied for permanent residence for them. In this process, she is being asked to have the children father, her husband, complete the form 5604 which is a declaration from non-accompanying parent.

Not only she isn't longer in touch with him(the children father) but also she believe that trying to relocate him is pointless given that he will never agree to sign such a form. He is bound to make her life miserable in any way he can.

Any suggestion?
