Thanks man. I did my submission today and the interview seems like it went great. Actually paid for a vip section with a service charge of $150 due to much people and I was tired of standing.

I was first told that my account statement was outdated so I had to look for my nearest bank branch to have another one printed.

I pray I get it.

My passport was sent to me yesterday with small white paper attached that they will contact me, that my information hasbn sent to Turkish authority for examination. I submitted my document to Mz visa on 15th of Oct. 2020

I think someone on here stated they did not get any email afterwards - they just went to the embassy and their passport was ready (they are just not consistent it seems). If you look back with the discussions maybe you will find who I'm referring too, it was for visitor's visa sha. If it's not too inconvenient might be worth going to the embassy. I know going from Lagos would be costly and not convenient.

I am afraid that's quite low for schools like Metu, Bogazici for which the tuition fee is very low. I believe there are others with low tuition fee, although i cannot speak for their reputation/quality. Perhaps you mentioned it. Can you reapt your program again?

Turkey might not be a good place to move to in order to study. I had my undergraduate and master degree in Turkey (all in high ranked public universities). All my departments were in english though i speak turkish fluently. one thing I can tell you is that do not use all your savings and pay thousands of dollars to any private university that can be closed within a blink of eye. More than 15 private universities were closed in 2016 because of political instability. Istanbul sehir university was just officially closed by the authority. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM A FAMILY WHERE MONEY WILL BE REGULARLY SENT TO YOU, THEN COME TO TURKEY! YOU WILL ENJOY AS YOU ARE GETTING MONEY FROM HOME! And for those who are willing to come and hustle. you’re going to the wrong place. So many brothers are stucked in Turkey. No flight money, nothing. I’m just recommending you to apply for a better country like poland. I just moved to portugal recently though I still have the Turkish resident
permit.

Thank you. I just rang them, I let them know that I wasn't happy with the way they handle my passport because the requested two way ticket has been bought and sent to their official email of which am expecting their acknowledgment if the ticket is been received or not but failed to get back to me. Now, the guy told me that they have a lot of applications on their desk and due to the result of pandemic they were facing challenges on visa print from the embassy, that I should calm down, that since they have called for my ticket that means my visa is 100% approved and granted that no cause for alarm.

In my own personal view, I think I need to be patient and any other concern Nairaland members, that surely if you were asked to buy ticket, definitely you will have your visa printed on your passport.

NOTE: This does not stop anyone to call them regards the status of his/her passport.

If what you are applying for is study visa, then I suggest you mail the school and notify them about the delay and ask if there is any help they can render..

There are two Cyprus. one is under Northern Cyprus (turkey ) and the other Southern Cyprus recognized by European union. You will need a visa to visit southern Cyprus.
