Some people commenting here don't even know where obigbo. Everything started after lekki shootings just like it happened in other parts of the country, then miscreants took over, maybe because of a long standing feud. The was a radio program and people from obigbo were asked to call in and tell people what's happening, some people called in and asked the govt to do an investigation first because some of the hausas there are not innocent as everyone thinks.
But one thing for sure is that Rivers people ESPECIALLY ikwerres hate ibos and I don't know why. You hate the tribe you answer their names, isn't that foolishness? Go to the courts and change your names na.
The sad part about this is that innocent people are going to die.
Again, Ibo people are killed all the time in the north, what's the big deal. When Nigerians start condemning the killing of ibos and other tribes in the North, then I can show sympathy.
IPOB is an organization and does NOT represent Ibo people. Some of them are extremists but they have a right to life.

So if the people of Oyigbo are frustrated, so their best bet is to vent their anger on Hausa traders. I don't get you. Protest were ongoing across the Nation and IPOB thought it wise to cause Carnage and you're justifying it by mentioning years of neglect of Oyigbo. Since you're clamouring for Oyigbo to be added to Abia, I want to ask, is Aba ( inarguably the most important city in Abia) not a slum compared to Oyigbo?
