I Lost Both Of My Grandmothers To Breast Cancer - Pastor Laurie Idahosa

Pastor Laurie Idahosa has shared her experience after a worrisome mammogram she underwent in the United States, IgbereTV reports.

Recounting how she lost both of her grandmothers to breast cancer because it wasn't detected early enough, Laurie said the doctors found something worrisome on both of her breasts and asked her to come back for a repeat mammogram and an ultrasound of her breasts.

She however disclosed that she went into a prayer mode, praying that whatever they found would be gone by the time she had a repeat test. The cleric revealed that the doctor who reviewed the images thereafter, told her that "whatever was there before is not there now."

Laurie Idahosa who expressed gratitude to God over the healing, told her female followers to be proactive with their breast health as early detection saves lives.

She wrote;

"PERSONAL TESTIMONY ALERT!

October is #breastcancerawarenessmonth ... before it comes to a close, I would like to remind all ladies (and gentlemen) to conduct regular self breast exams and when possible get an annual mammogram.

I lost both of my grandmothers to breast cancer. Unfortunately, neither of them detected it early enough. By the time they found out they had it, it was already too late, despite the fact that they had mastectomies.

When I was in the US this past summer, I had my annual mammogram. My mammograms have always been perfect...until this year.

This time, they found something worrisome on both breasts and asked me to come back for a repeat mammogram and an ultrasound of my breasts.

Trust me, this is when I went on full-on prayer mode! I prayed earnestly that whatever they found would be gone by the time I had a repeat test. I declared God’s Word over my body and rebuked the spirit of cancer. I prayed as if my life depended on it.

When I went in for the repeat mammogram, the technician took about 10 more images than they took the first time. She took focused images on the places where they had seen some abnormalities.

When she returned to the room, after having the images reviewed by the doctor, she said, “Mrs. Idahosa, today is your lucky day. I have great news for you, it appears that whatever was there before is not there now. You have a great day! Take a deep breath, there is nothing worrisome. We will see you next year.”

I left the office and went to my car and cried tears of gratitude to God. He healed me! I will never have #breastcancer in Jesus Name!

Please be proactive with your breast health. #earlydetectionsaveslives

Note: behind me is the machine that they used for my 2nd set of images. Mammograms aren’t comfortable, but, breast cancer"

The truth is, some relationships are supposed to last forever, and some are only supposed to last a few days. That’s the way life is.

Sparogatively, one of the best ways to live CAN cer free, is to try as much as you can to avoid consuming CANNED products or other Chemically processed Foods!

If you think otherwise, go and ask those orange drink and apple drink companies if they use any actual fruit in their productions.

Everything na FLAVOUR!
Everything na Chemical!.

Your taste bud may be manipulated, but never your internal organs!
Stay Natural!

God no go shame us!

Sometimes bring alive and healthy is a precious gift. Some are just not fortunate to have it. Well, I appreciate the fact that she took her health seriously by seeking medical treatment after praying and I wish her better recovery. May God give her divine healing and for other having any health issues, I pray you receive divine healing.

But take note of this: Lost Both Of My Grandmothers To Breast Cancer - Pastor Laurie Idahosa: During all her speech she didn't attribute it to village people neither did she say it is generational curse or evil arrow. This is where majority of Nigerians christians and religious fanatics fall into. You see them in every corner of Churches and shrine wailing for cure for little sickness that #200 could cure. Well I never blame them. Government has failed us, poor health sector. Some can't even afford money for basic health facilities. With majority living in abject poverty. Well my two cent though.

Thank God she doesn't have to do that. Breast cancer is not a joke, only a survivor and the families will know what I am talking about. between anyone that has a cancerous lump should get black seed oil or black seed honey, with God that oil does wonders cos it eliminates cancerous lumps on the breast. Been there done that, I give all the glory to God.

Hello... I would like to share some knowledge of Cancer with us, its symptoms and causes, and the proper treatment of the condition for the best results. The objective of this article is to introduce everyone to general aspects of cancers. It's written to be an overview of cancer and cannot cover every cancer type.
Cancer is the disease that results when cellular changes cause the uncontrolled division and growth of abnormal cells anywhere in the body. Most of the body cells have specific functions and fixed lifespans. A cell receives instructions to die so that the body can replace it with a newer cell that functions better. Cancerous cells lack the components that instruct them to stop dividing, and to die.
According to recent data from World Health Organization, it accounted for 8.2 million deaths worldwide. Deaths from cancer worldwide are projected to continue rising with an estimated 13.1 million deaths in 2030(about 70% increase). Certain forms of cancer result in visible growths called Tumors while others such as Leukemia do not.
There are over 100 types of cancer. Many cancers and the abnormal cells that compose the cancer tissue are identified by the name of the tissue that the abnormal cells originated from(e.g breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer). Lung, stomach, liver, colon and breast cancers cause the most cancer deaths each year.
Cancerous cells may appear in one area, then spread via the lymph nodes which are located in different parts of the body such as the neck, groin area, and under the armpits. During this process, the cancer cells grow and may develop into new tumors. This is known as Metastasis.
Cancer staging is often considered to determine the cancer type, the extent of cancer spread, and to determine treatment protocols. In general, in most staging methods, the higher the number assigned(usually between 0 to 4), the more aggressive the cancer type or more widespread is the cancer in the body.
Causes of Cancer
As Cancer is a genetic disease, the mutations/
alteratations of the genes cause a variety of changes that can make a cell cancerous. Some mutations accelerate the pace at which a cell duplicates itself, others prevent cells from knowing when to stop dividing, and still others keep them from dying off as normal cells are supposed to do.
When a cell has acquired enough of those mutations to interfere with the rules by which normal cells behave, it has become cancerous.
General Signs and Symptoms
a) Lump or area of thickening that can be felt under the skin.
b) Persistent, unexplained muscle or joint pain.
c) Unusual bleeding or discharge(e.g nipple secretions that ooze substance)
d) Skin changes or yellowing, darkening or redness of the skin, sores that won't heal.
e) Unexplained fevers and night sweats.
f) Nagging cough or hoarseness.
When do you need Medical Attention?
If you have any persistent signs or symptoms that concern you, and if you don't have any signs or symptoms, but are worried about your risk of cancer.
Common Risk Factors
1) Age
2) A family history of cancer
3) Certain health conditions
4) Lifestyle: Excessive exposure to smoking and drinking
5) Environment: Constant exposure to chemicals, smokes.
Complications
When cancer is left for a certain period of time, it leads to the following :
a) Fatigue and weight loss.
b) Pain caused by cancer or cancer treatment, though not all cancer is painful.
c) Chemical imbalances in the body
d) Spread and recurrence of cancer
e) Death.
Proper Treatment of Cancer
A complete treatment of any health challenge is only achieved when proper medical evaluation is met with the right, adequate recommendation of treatment. And going through these, it helps to improve the quality of your health and your life.

What's it with women of advanced age and breast cancer? I too lost one of my grandmothers to that same demon in 2004. I can still remember sitting alone with Mama in the sitting room, sitting with her in her bed inside her room imagining the pains she was going through. Grandmother had beautiful heart and was not supposed to go through such pains. Up till the day we lost her I kept on believing that thing would go and I would have my jovial Grandma back.

I don't pray the worst of my anymies have it. If not for it, maybe Grandma would still be alive after all her two elder brothers still live.

You mean In Nigeria? . Breast cancer of stage 1-3 have a high survival rate after surgery the only problem will now be if it reoccures .While in Nigeria that chances of survival after surgery is low.
