As a political leader holding high PUBLIC office, you don't need anybody to address you 'politely' in order for you to get the message and do the right thing.

If you too like respect and dignity, why bring your miserable self out for public service? It is ridiculous. Stay in your house quietly and eat the respect that your children and other family members would serve you. We are talking about a country with serious problems. You brought yourself out to enjoy the perks of public office.... Long convoys of high end Mercedes cars, the presidential villa, and billions of naira worth of privileges and yet you dare talk about respect. God punish you there. Idiots.

If you can't solve the obvious problems on ground. If you can't think up workable solutions and meet the yearnings of millions of rightfully angry and frustrated citizens then GET THE HELL OUT OF PUBLIC OFFICE AND RETIRE TO YOUR VILLAGE. I hate this annoying sense of entitlement... You're not doing anybody a favour by being a public office holder. Don't tell me about polite engagement. Get the fucking message and do the right thing, or get lost. Period.

My thoughts exactly.. More wisdom to your cap. With the level of sentiments we exude in thus country, no wonder we get the kinds of leaders that we have..

On Osinbajo I stand, He is a leader no matter what, he has shown that he is capable for the job when Buhari is lost in idea and thought.

I even prefer Nigeria to be recolonized and ruled by a 600yrs old American, than to be ruled by the old fools we have here

That's very good! This funny youthful generation would rather be calling their father's mate a mad man (Soro soke weyrey). How do you get some meaningful response by that?

I am not a tribal person at all but something tells me you are from the southwest. The earlier we remove age from issues the better for us all. Why do you think in some organisation, if you call your boss anything other than his name, you may end up with query?
Once you take up a form to become a political office holder, then you should be ready for batters.

This man would have been a better listening and youths friendly president if not for the complexity of the country.

NB: I didn't say a better President because experience has thought me so many things especially from Nigeria politicians

People can be very emotional, some think with their hearts and not their heads, now that's a very big problem.

Like they say "talk is cheap", I am dumbfounded that some people are already willing to serve osinbanjo the presidential seat on a gold plater just because he made sum promises he would most likely not keep.

I don't commend people for what they say they would do, no, I commend people for what they do.

Good but will the cabals beclouding the president give the VP any chance to work?

VP is just one person in the midst of all these evil people. They would have thrashed this letter even without reading it if it was written to them or the president...

Honestly, most of the comments above yours have the strong stench of paid social media cleaners. Take @okefrancis for example. All his posts have been to the glory of Prof Osinbajo. This shows all politicians are really the same. They only care about their reputation and their minions have really been working overtime these few weeks.

People were murdered by the same law enforcement agents that we fund with our tax and some are talking about respect. Clowns.

It unfortunate he finds himself in this mess of a government. Critical thinkers would know that he has being sidelined by the hulks in the presidendency and he can't do anything about most of these things. Resigning is not also the option for him either as his presence still hits some checks on them. The story could have been different if he is the C in C. #myopinion.

Some youths do say that "School na Scam!"....but on a serious note, if a person thinks education is expensive & irrelevant, such person should try ignorance & then see how he will view or see things.

This is what you get, when you have an educated & intelligent person at the helm of affairs.

Professor Osinbajo could have been a perfect man for the presidency......but it's a pity that he got it all wrong with his timing.

He is a typical example of "the right person at the wrong time"
