Hello everyone,

Kindly give your honest advice or opinion in this issue:

If you had the option to choose either Ireland or US for an IT Masters course; all things being equal where both offered 100% scholarship with monthly stipends and both visas are given.

Where would be your preferred location and why?

Please answer honestly for someone's sake.

Thanks

My honest assessment is to come to Ireland right now. The US has a lot of job opportunities and pays better but the pandemic has wrecked havoc. Trump has also brought out anti immigration sentiments and violence against blacks is high. Ireland on the other hand has great prospects for IT jobs without many of the negativity.

So I definitely recommend Ireland

Congratulations! I'm proud of you.

Please do you know anything about getting into the Med School in TCD. I heard about the possibility of getting in without MCAT. I'll like to confirm that.

I really do not know about the medical profession in Ireland. I'm in the Engineering sector. You can look up Ceecee on YouTube and Instagram and send her a comment. Her hubby is a doctor and moved to Ireland and can better help. However, they are in the UK now but their advice would be invaluable

Good day.... i have interest in doing masters in Ireland. Sadly I got to know about masters in Ireland on Monday. Is it possible to gain admission and visa for January 2021 if I apply now?

Definitely. You can also check for schools outside Dublin for cheaper tuition fees and lower costs of living

Please is there any separate thread about visiting Ireland?

Considering it for my next holiday.

Greetings Everyone.

Please i need some clarification on the prospect for civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) in Ireland after studies. I have 5 Years working experience in structural Engineering and am hoping to go for Masters in Civil Engineering (university of Limerick). Please i would appreciate if someone can answer this as there is no much online in this area of specialization as per prospects after studies.

Many Thanks

They didn't actually tell me the appropriate rate there. according to the manager, she will confirm the rate it is as of today and the correct amount will be what will be deducted from my sponsor account. But I check online I saw 444.98

Document requested form the bank are
* Evidence of admission
* School Bill for the period
* Photocopy of first degree certificate/
Copy of statement of result by awarding institution (post graduate)
* Valid means of ID

The engineering sector I will say is booming right now because I work in the engineering field and it's part of the critical skill list.

Thank you...

I had to open euro account and transfer 7045 euro because they will subtract some charges from the money so if you send 7000euro the money will not be up to 7000euro after removing some charges and that will reflect on the receipt they will give, Remember Irish embassy demands we pay 7000euro for EDUBOND.
I hope I answered the question

Did you transfer from the Naira equivalent from your Naira account to your euro account. What was the exchange rate at the time of this transaction...

After paying your full tuition and securing a 7000 edu bond, leaving a balance of about 4 million as your sponsors account ....will this be sufficient for proof of funds.

It takes 3-4weeks. Unless you processed for the priority. Which may take 1-2weeks.
Yes, most times you may not get any receipt until the transaction is completed. Then you will get your telex copy which you will send to your school.

Hello, I'm planning to apply for postgraduate studies into an affordable Irish university. I've gone online to research on some institutions
However, I need opinions from people that are there or have been there on the choice of universities and course to study.
I studied biochemistry at undergraduate level.. I'm considering applying to a course that will lead me into health related jobs over there
Your opinions will be appreciated
