Our players are better suited for 4-4-2 diamond. I remember i stated this last week. 4-4-2 diamond allows us field a higher number of our good players IN THEIR BEST POSITIONS.

In 4-2-3-1 we don't have a good right wing forward so that is 1 position being used sub-optimally. Our left wing forward Rashford is more of a scorer than a natural creator so that is another position being used sub-optimally.
Then crucially our defence has less protection as the 3 forward players don't track back consistently . Our midfield also has less control.


With 4-4-2 you can actually field Pogba and Bruno together in their best positions and still have quality on the bench with VDB, Mata. You can play a true strike partnership with Rashford and Martial and still have quality on the bench with Cavani and Greenwood (all playing their natural positions).

The weakness is on the flanks as the full backs don't have much help and might face 2 v 1 situations more often than they would like.

Sir Cee, Fellaini gave more to Man utd than Pogba is giving now but I expect most Utd fans to disagree cox they want to hype him.

We have lost to Tottenham, Drew against Chelsea and lost at home to Arsenal...One point from a possible 9...

The game against Brighton was an eyesore, we were played off the park and only poor finishing from Brighton kept us in the game...

So, bar the Newcastle game, we where we won albeit with a flurry of late goals we have been very poor...

If Brighton had taken their chances or VAR didn't come to our rescue, we'd have just 5 pts after 7 games...That's relegation standard...

I see handelex roping in our UCL result to somewhat ease the pressure on Ole (It is what it is else I don't know why he drop that result here) but it won't fly, we can't continue with the guy, yes he is a legend but then, we can continue to let every bad result slide...It's not like we were on a run of 15 games unbeaten o!
