Hi I saw that.

My enquiry is regarding the slip.

I no longer have the slip issued to me when I did my biometrics about three years ago. So am asking if I can attach my bvl instead of the slip.

Thank you.

I was the sponsor. I had about 20M Naira in my personal account and 25m Naira in my business account. Also, I had certificate of investments in Agro companies worth about 30M Naira and property documents worth about 40M Naira. I would post the excerpts from the GCMS notes shortly too.
Chocs:
Hello,

Sorry to hear about her refusal,

The worth of your property does not count in regards to the money available.

Property serves as home ties (something to compel you to come back home after your studies)

The money available for studies must be liquid. That means it must be available in your bank account and accessible. She is required to have 1 year full tuition + 10,000 cad for living expenses.

Who was her sponsor? I always advise the sponsor to transfer the 10,000 cad to the applicant as a sign of commitment.

She can also pay her tuition fee ahead and attach the receipt (check the refund policy of the school before paying)

Also did you order your gcms notes to see the specific concern of the visa officer? The reasons given in the refusal letters are usually generic and not specific. Order your gcms notes to see the specific reason.

To order the gcms notes, google “gcms notes sites Canada” choose any of them and apply for the notes. It costs about 20 cad and can take up to 35 days to arrive.

thanks for the clarification

JustMellow:

Hello Sleekcheek,

Situation varies. For undergraduate study and depending on the situation, the WAEC certificate is relevant. NYSC may also be relevant to explain gap(s) as a fresh-graduate visa applicant.

Sorry, I have to talk about the aforesaid as I think it may help someone. In your case, the WAEC isn't necessary neither is your NYSC. No harm including them also.

Hello JustMellow .

Thanks for this , do you mean she shouldn't have uploaded her transcript since she had poor grade ?

JustMellow:

Hello Mideyo234,

If you didn't include your academic transcript, then, the fault comes from you for the VO to have been able to know about your poor grade. This may have been given as reason, thinking it will suffice enough to prove your study intent and its importance on why you're embarking to study in all that huge expenses in Canada.

In the sentence that the VO mentioned the occupation of you both parents, it meant to be only an acknowledgement of the information and nothing more.

You were refused because of home ties, current employment situation in home country and purpose of visit. You may have not been able to argue on the importance, relevance and what necessitated your decision to pursue the specific course in your study plan. On the balance, in your next application, and since you've previously talk about the poor grade, you should strongly argue on how it won't be disserviceable to your study in Canada. Point out your strong academic strength and briefly demonstrate how you have improved as a student.

Ultimately, the supporting reason(s) for your refusal is stated by the VO in the last three sentences as "insufficient information," in order to understand your situation and to make an informed-decision. Address your ties economically as a prospect (considering your age) as well as any available ties belonging to your parents.

All the best
