As a Christian and a reader of the Bible I am yet to come to terms with the idea that Trump is indispensable because of his relationship with Christ. I quite agree that someone of his polices promotes/ protects some Christian values and doctrines such as same sex marriage but does that make him a born again Christian in the sense that Jesus spoke of to Nichodemus? Teaching against homosexuality is not perculiar to Christians even lslam and others frown at it. But come to think about this, did Christ tell us to use the state coercive instruments such as legislation to win the immoral and the abominables to him? And not the effectual power of the word of truth which is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword ( including executive order or any piece of legislation)? The weapon of the word truth which Christ gave to us has the divine power to demolish strongholds and every high thing that sets itself against the knowledge of God.Even if the Democrats legalized same sex marriage it can be destroyed by the power of the word of God.

What of the virtues of love and peace which are the hallmarks of our faith in Christ Jesus? While Jesus build bridges and died for all humanity, Trump's policies build walls and champion wars and conflicts.

The way he lost is painful, but he should know that it pained Hillary Clinton more in 2016, having been the favourite in the run-up to the elections.

BTW, USA is far better than Nigeria. There has been no report of any killings after election results like we had in 2011, and the affected candidate never condemned the killings till date.
