2. You said you got your ead card by mail,did they send your the ead card even though they said that they have scheduled your green card interview?

Yes, I got the EA card 3days later after I got the notice for my Green Card Interview.

3.Is it possible that you’re scheduled for an interview and they won’t update it on their website?did you by any chance experience something like this
Yes, I did, it took some days before it was updated on my case status. The EA card was even updated after I received it before my interview status was updated.

Hi Fam!!!

I hope everyone is fine and safe, especially our members who are in Naija? A quick update on my case, I got a mail from USCIS yesterday for my interview. However, the date they gave me didn't really favor me as my wife is away on active duty and will not be back before the interview date. I went to the local office today to explain the situation and also showed them a written letter from her command stating that she will be away between the month of October to November. After taking a look at it, the case officer I met placed a call, then came back and told me to still come for the interview with all the necessary documents and supporting evidence. If they still feel the need to contact her, they will. So I hope everything works out, wish me luck. Cheers!!!!

Hi good people. Good news. Our case got approval today from USCIS notfying has been movd to NVC. Please has anyone recently gotten interview date from lagos or Abuja embassy. Want to know if they are functional and how long it could take NVC to farward to embassy here in Nigeria

Just found out after my fiance mail our package to USCIS she forgot to check the box that asked about criminal records. I did some research online they say we should wait for NOA1 then call their contact centre for them to fix it, since uscis have not started to process the application so its easy to fix. Please has anyone experienced this or make a mistake in the form I 129f ? , please all the guru in the house

You can try to call them to see if anything can be done.
You'll most likely get an RFE for that...No big deal
You'll be sent a form to tick that particular criminal record question. Fill it immediately and send back to them.
All things being equal, you'll get your NOA2 within a week after responding to the RFE.

I would like to know if the Embassy have started issuing Immigrant Visa and if there is any update on the processing of K1 Visa and th processing time-frame.

Hello Everyone,

So I had my I-485 interview today, luckily, my wife was also able to join me as she and her command came back home earlier than the expected time.

The interview took less than 15minutes, it was very casual and the IO was very jovial. However, I got a white paper stating that my case is being held for review. The IO said they just need to run a background check one more time which takes 5-10 minutes, he also told me my green card will be a conditioner one and he told me how I can go about applying for the condition to be removed 90days before the expiration date.

My question to those who already received their green card is; did anyone of you receive such type of letter? I read on Visa Journey and few other places that it is a standard procedure, but I need to be sure. If that is the case, how long until I get a notice of action that my green card will be sent?

I look forward to reading a response on this matter. Cheers!!!

You were denied K1 on what grounds?
And do you intend to redo the K1 process again or you're gonna get married and do the spousal process?
The latter makes your case more genuine though

I was denied cos i didnt get a proper divorce document from my first marriage. We plan going for the CR1 as advised, but will like to know if the Ban is not affecting k1 Visa.
