Don't mind my errors please. There is a saying "smokers are liable to die young". Gamblers should be added to the list too. It all started when I went to bet9ja shop to watch a football match, then I saw people collecting money and were also shouting " 1 and 2 away win" on virtual. I asked what was going on and someone told me they are winning money there. So I decided to try with the little money I had then and I won thinking that's how the going will be forever. The next day I tried, I lost heavenly and thats how my *addiction* started. Everything I had went to virtual and I was so powerless to stop it. It got to extent of using my school fees to bet on virtual. virtual bad gan. I promised myself never to play again but still,I find myself going back to it. How did I stop ? My mum. She promised to disgrace me the day she catches and she did. She caught me redhanded and was dragging my cloths up and down, see big shame oo!! A handsome dude like me. I just beat off her hand, jumped down from a story building and ran for my their life. After the incidence, I was ashamed of coming outside for two weeks. When I finally did,I visited the bet9ja virtual shop and I noticed I no longer feel the urge of playing bet again. Its now 2 years, and I haven't played it. I now see the disgrace as blessing in disguise because it was what made me to stop playing it . I advice anyone hu wants to succeed never to think of gambling. It ruins life. I wouldn't advice my enemy to venture into it. Any time I remember those days,I just feel anger because it made me rewrite jamb. Share your experience... 1 Like 1 Share |
