So I'm posted to Benue but I know nothing about the government hospitals in town (Makurdi). I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist which means it's important I get a PPA with a good laboratory system.

Even if you know nothing about the nature of the place, just list hospitals in Makurdi that take corps members and I'll find out more about it. Thanks.

No part of benue is good makurdi inclusive...jus prepare your mind to adapt with the situation. I served there...OYO is your case

Try Solina Health Limited, I served there during my NYSC days, bogus salary close to 80k, not a doctor though, but they work with hospital on HIV/AIDS program in conjunction with IHVN.
So it will be a good option for you.

Go to general hospital northbank

Op, don't mind all those giving you negative advice .. Makurdi is fine to be nothing will happen to you. It is a cosmopolitan city, you will meet people which you already knew, trust me.. Hospitals try Federal medical center or Benue state university teaching hospital. Best of luck

Locate any NKST church or hospital around, you might get a good ppa from there. I served in Benue state years ago

I don't know much about Benue... But the best is to look for a big private lab and run ur PP... A MLS here

I served in Makurdi, try FMC or government house. The pay in government house is very nice plus there's accommodation as well as other stuff sha. If you go to any barrack Omo you're on your own o because you'll do morning PT and evening games and if you're unlucky, they might not pay you well.

FMC is your best bet. If you end up with teaching posting, volunteer in the hospital to acquire needed skill and experience. Holla at me if you need solar powerbank for your laptop.
