Tradermoni is a LOAN. The recipients are required to pay back. This Grant is FREE. Buhari is using their poverty to buy support among the poorest Northerners but will give loans to Southerners. Buhari is AN UNREPENTANT TRIBALIST. A "tribal racist". Nepotism is in his blood. I don't have a problem with that if he were functioning in his personal capacity. But he's not. He's functioning in capacity as the President of Nigeria, BUT he uses southern resources to favor the Core Sharia North. Even Kogi Governor was recently begging the FG should fix infrastructure in Okene, bad roads causing avoidable unnecessary loss of lives. Central or Middlebelt zone aren't getting attention. Just like the news that exposed him telling World Bank to focus on the North. North for Buhari = Core Sharia North, excluding Middlebelt zones. This is wrong and unacceptable. If he wants to favor his people alone then he should use their resources and money to do it, instead of using Southern resources and commonwealth. Always robbing Peter to pay Abdullah. Rubbish!

That's simply because they are the poorest of Nigeria's poor. In the south, it take a lot of courage to beg. But in the north, begging is a way of life and beggars have associations.

The 20k Buhari gave the Fulani women cannot take them out of abject poverty; it can only feed them for a few days after which they return to what they used to be. It's not a curse; it's a simple fact.

They are not poorest of the poor jare. Fulani don't measure wealth by cash but by cows. Ask how cows, you will know they not poor.

More so, this is not sustainable. With the way this government run this government, everybody is vulnerable. It only creates partiality, tribalism and more division along ethnic lines. Is it only Fulani that have the poor!

Its no excuse. This government is the worse government in the history of Nigeria and Nigerians have to find courage to confront them on their failures else, they will hold us bound in perpetuity. That's the plan cos come 2023, they will only pass it to someone that will continue the trend.

What an embarrassment! 20k for what na? Na food dem go take am buy. I asked a mallam to clear the Bush of my site recently in lagos and he was charging 40k and he could do at least 2 of that daily so, 20k is useless. Why not empower them with skills? What happens to all those skills acquisition programmes? Stop fishing for them rather, teach them how to catch fish. Once they're done with these programmes, you give them start up capital and see many lift themselves out of poverty, employing people. Only then would we say we have a responsible government. Even if you give them 20k monthly, it takes care of nothing.

I remember the adire empowerment programme of Gov Oshoba in those days. Today, Abeokuta remains the largest exporter of Adire in Africa. Many had built houses and trained their children overseas through this means. One of them is that old woman with a roof-like headgear who always features in meristem's advert on channelstv news hour.

I remember Ladi Kwali, the illiterate Gbagyi woman who was recognised at the world stage for her earthen pot's work, thanks to her promoters. There are many like the woman today who could hit it big with their various handicrafts in various communities. These are the areas our government should focus on but their corrupt minds won't let them. . I see a chunk of that money diverted while some would enter politicians' pockets as was the case during the covid-19 lockfown.

This is one of the myriad of reasons we need to do things differently, come 2023.

You mean they are extremely poor right, have you seen an iron picker exposing his pocket, most of them have money, but to spend is their problem, They prefer to wear Their clothes till it fades ,then invest in their cow businesses,. who say Hausa's are broke....Go to their lands and confirm it you'll be amazed, do you know the worth of a full grown cow,talkless of having hundreds of them, some of them live a normal life but the other way round is the most common
