What has pan Africanism do, pan Africanism is just another word for african Marxism.

A marxist society will always be poor and always blame outsiders for internal problem.

If people dont produce, don't trade, how is their country going to improve.

The santara keep blaiming imperalism for corn and grains and others, why didnt he tell his people to start to grow all these, be competitive in trade.

So because he has 3 guitar, one car and earn 450 dollars a month, that means he is a good leader.

Do you know how much was 450 dollars in his time, it was worth alot.
He wanted Burkhina Faso to be self suffient in agriculture and manfacturing and that is why he was taken out. Tried all the corrupt leaders in public courts.

Thomas Sankara was a visonary like current Rwanda President Paul Kagame.

Overpopulation is affecting us negatively. overpopulation has alway being a blessing in disguise, but to us here it is a curse in disguise.

Overpopulation is affecting us because the forebears of the north felt it was better to have ignorant and uneducated folks bound in the shackles of religion and tribe than to have enlightened minds whose latent potentials could have been unearthed by education.
The overpopulation being a curse is not an accident. It was a well planned move by some myopic and power hungry oligarchs in the north.

Donkey, it is about how much they built in 63 years considering the amount of money they made from exporting our resources.

Answer the question

Who built the railway systems

What railway ''systems''

I just told you, you dunce, that they built TWO LINES from north to south to evacuate your resources!!! Nothing else!

A proper railway system connects various cities across the nation, to boost economic activity, similar to what the current leadership are doing with the Lagos - Ibadan line, East - West Line, Itakpe-Warri line etc. Not just linking the north to southern ports for export of resources! Damn you are slow.

Who built university of ibadan

If a black government builds you 1 university in 63 years, will you commend them?

Of course you wouldn't. You would condemn them as looters and thieves.

The white man throws you crumbs from his table, and like a dog you lap it up gratefully and praise him to high heaven. Are you mentally ill?

Who built kings and queens college and other former elite secondary schools.

ELITE secondary schools? What about the rest of the population?

So the white man comes and rules you for 63 years, loots your resources, and builds you a handful of ELITE schools, leaving you with 95% illiteracy rate at independence, and you are praising him for that?

Who did this to you?

Who built first bank
The Central bank

Well they had to build a bank or two to help them siphon the money they were looting and embezzling, didn't they?

How could they have exploited you without banks?

Primary healthcare systems

What ''primary healthcare systems''?

Little boy, the British built a total of 11 hospitals in all of Nigeria for the masses, and 51 hospitals for their own officials, and Nigerians were barred from those 51 hospitals.

The road networks

What road networks?

They were only a tiny handful of roads at independence. No roads led to villages like we have today. Back then you had to get off at the nearest road to your village and walk along bush paths, sometimes for days, before reaching your village.

Why do you think we are spending so much building new roads today across the nation? It is because we had NO ROADS. THAT IS WHY WE ARE BUILDING NEW ROADS, BRIDGES, FLYOVERS, ETC TILL TODAY, BECAUSE AT INDEPENDENCE NIGERIA WAS JUST A BUSH.

The military
The police
The prisons
Civil services
Fire departments

Who built all these?

They did not ''build'' any of these things. They simple ESTABLISHED services to which they gave those titles. Those services were poorly funded and had nothing at independence. The military had no real weapons or armoury at independence. The airforce had no jet fighters. The police, fire depts etc were just that in name only, and their influence was limited to GRA, Ikoyi and other elite areas where the white officials lived. The civil service was just a bunch of clerks sitting in offices.

Get this.

Colonialism is an exercise in EXPLOITATION.

The colonialist comes to your country to colonise you so that they can LOOT YOUR RESOURCES and enrich their home country.

That is the VERY ESSENCE of colonialism.

They are not there to develop you. Any 'infrastructure' you see, such as one university, or one rail line etc, when you check it, was built to further THEIR colonial objectives of exploitation.

For example, they needed to build one university at Ibadan so they could have a core of black civil service staff to help them administer the country on their behalf.

For example, the 2 railway lines they built were straight lines from north to south so they could move your timber, groundnuts, iron ore, tin, coal etc to the southern ports for EXPORT. The proceeds were kept in London, not used to develop Nigeria.

That is why Nigeria was still a ''developing country'' with mass illiteracy, malnutrition, and nake.d, barefooted children running around the streets at independence, despite 63 years of BRITISH RULE.

It was an exercise in EXPLOITATION.

Mr Brainless. South Africa is more developed than Nigeria today because South Africa has been developing since 1820, while Nigeria only began to develop in 1960 after independence.

The whites who colonised South Africa regarded it as THEIR country, as the temperate weather attracted millions of them there from Europe, and so they did not completely loot the nation's resources to send abroad when they took over.

Therefore the country had been developing since the 1820s, as the rulers reinvested maybe half of the export proceeds back into South Africa from that period. Right from the 1800s, they built universities, built roads, bridges, power plants, engineering institutes, proper rail systems and other genuine infrastructure that spurred development, such that by the 1940s, south Africa was more or less a developed country.

In the rest of black Africa it was a different story. The colonialists just looted and looted and looted, and put nothing back, such that at independence in the 1960s, those countries were just BUSH, like Nigeria.

South Africa had a head start of 150 years on the rest of black Africa in terms of development. THAT is the only reason they are more developed today.

You sound like something is damaged in you. Tone down on the insults. You don't have a monopoly of it except you're not capable of a decent conversation.
I'm an African like you so I have no reason to defend the white man. While you accept that colonialism is not about developing the colony (which is true) you still turn around to blame the colonialist for not developing Africa.
What is not deniable is that, the colonialists left Nigeria better than they met it. Yet, they never had a social pact or contract like our govt has with us.
You have a point about the founding fathers especially working to make Nigeria better. But you need to realise Nigeria largely lost the plot in the 80s and 90s when oil became the mainstay of our economy. With oil, the money comes everyday and a military govt doesn't need a FAAC meeting before spending the money. They're also not accountable to the people just like the colonialists which is why they ended up like them. Building token infrastructure while swallowing the larger chunk of the money.
That said, electricity which you've been talking about was a pretty new invention in the late nineteenth century. It's use became more widespread in the early 20th century.
And for the rails, they ran from Lagos down to Kano, port Harcourt to Maiduguri and from Baro to Kaduna. These are not just two routes as you claim. They're looking routes linking different towns which we've struggled to maintain and even replicate in 2000s.

Why did Japan with no natural resources not make that same excuse when all their infrastructure got devasted in World War 2 in 1945 and had to rebuild their country from scratch to become of the the wealthiest countries.

Why didn't Paul Kagame make the same excuse when Rwanda was devastated by the civil war in 1994 that led to the world's worst genocide. And he had to rebuild the country from scratch.

Nigeria's leaders failed plain and simple because of their unbridled greed, corruption, ethnic politics and lack of vision. And that is why the country is a failed state and has it's citizens risking their lives through the Sahara Dessert,Libya and Mediterrean sea to get to Europe.

All their infrastructure was NOT devastated in 1945. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed. The rest of Japan was virtually untouched. Do you think it is easy to devastate an entire country's infrastructure? Why would the allies have even done that when they had billions of dollars in investments in Japan at the time?

Even Germany that was defeated, 95% of her infrastructure was intact after the war, despite the bombings of Berlin, Dresden, Cologne etc.

You have no knowledge of history and World War 2, you suffer from delusions of grandeur and low I.Q.The attacks also caused extensive damage to Japan's urban areas. Approximately 40 percent of the urban area of the 66 cities subjected to area attacks were destroyed and over 600 major industrial facilities were destroyed or badly damaged, contributing to a large decline in production. And they still rebuilt their country to become one of the wealthiest nation in the world and the most technologically advanced.

You make excuses for Nigeria's underdevelopment, but won't spare Rwanda that had to rebuild their country just two decades ago. If Nigeria had Christian leaders the country will have been developed. The foundations of majority of European nations such as United Kingdom,Denmark,Germany,Netherlands,Sweden,France,Switzerland,Canada and United States were built on Christian values.

You have no knowledge of history and World War 2, you suffer from delusions of grandeur and low I.Q.

Says an uneducated lowlife, with less than a high school education.

The attacks also caused extensive damage to Japan's urban areas. Approximately 40 percent of the urban area of the 66 cities subjected to area attacks were destroyed and over 600 major industrial facilities were destroyed or badly damaged, contributing to a large decline in production. And they still rebuilt their country to become one of the wealthiest nation in the world and most technologically advanced.

Peabrain, Japan had a highly educated population, large finances, and a large technological sector in the 1940s that could easily muster the wherewithal to rebuild the nation after the war.

In 1960, Nigeria was 95% illiterate and had zero industries. Yet you expect Nigeria to have developed to be like Japan.

I mean, you are just dumb.

Go and study Development Economics.

You make excuses for Nigeria underdevelopment

They sound like ''excuses'' to you because you're not well educated, have a low IQ and cannot reason beyond simplistic barometres of blame, and fingerpointing.

80% of nations on earth are developing nations. Nigeria is NOT unique.

By your logic of a 3 year old, all those developing nations, many of whom have huge resources as well, are still underdeveloped because they are ''stupid, corrupt, worthless etc etc''.

That's how you reason. Like a child.

but won't spare Rwanda that had to rebuild their country just two decades ago.

How is Rwanda rebuilt? Where in Rwanda is rebuilt outside Kigali? What do they manufacture in Rwanda?

If Nigeria had Christian leaders the country will have been developed. The foundations of majority of European nations such as United Kingdom,Denmark,Germany,Netherlands,Sweden,France,Switzerland,Canada and United States were built on Christian values.

Just look at the fanatical garbage this idiot is spouting here.

Ludicrous.

In 1960 we had enough resources to transform the country. Remember when Yakubu Gowon made this statement in the 70's when he was Military Head of State, "The problem is not money, but how to spend it", this was when Nigeria's population was still manageable.
How much was the money ...
